I mentioned this the other day but no one else seemed to agree, does Joe come across as very camp?

No one else seemed to agree with that, but i think he seems quite mincy.
 
Thank you! No one else seems to notice that he's mincing his way to the top, and in fairness his lisp doesn't help him. He can sing though.

Oh i didn't mention it in this forum, this is at home with the family.
 
It would serve the makers and Cowell right for allowing it to become such a farce of a show, it's supposed to be a singing contest, not a likeability contest.
 
And I don't get what's with the huge amount of hatred coming Danyl's way either. In non of the VT's or when he's been interviewed does he come across as cocky. Yet just because he does more than just stand in the middle of the stage and sing he's obviously too cocky and not likeable.

No doubt a full on gayer. He's annoying as feck too.

Anyone else think the choreographer was completely taking the piss out of the twins? And Louie congratulated him on it. :drool:

Exactly. Can't claim to have been a Buble fan before but he kinda blew me away.

Walks like he has a wooden leg or two, though.

who knows where all the bad press comes from though?
talent wise, he's head and shoulders above the rest of them .
the other judges have latched onto the " likeability " factor which is ridiculous in terms of singing ability

Trouble is, when the public are voting, the contests have to be likeable - once they've won it might not be as important.
 
i don't like danyl
i don't think his voice is that good
and he cant spell his (and as a direct result my) name right
i actually said i didn't like him at the start though, it should be near the start of the thread

danyl's an odd mix though - he seems likeable enough when he's being interviewed but when he's singing, he gets a bit cocky

He would be great on a west end stage show/musical type thing.

His voice would never sell records though.
 
Jamie is a nice guy - a friend of mine started following him on Twitter, and he reciprocated which made her week.

It's getting too entertaining for that...Simon Cowell's reaction is more entertaining than the actual show maybe.

meh... i honestly dont think he gives a stuff... he didnt care when the fat bint won... still flogged a few million records for xmas... makes a ton of money on the phone lines and then just repeats the process next year

I honestly just remember her as a fatty and people thought it would be funny if the fatty won...

as for previous winners... steve, shane, leon... I mean how talented were they... I had to look their names up I couldnt even remember them...

still they sign up to a piss poor contract and the media machine that is the x factor guarantees enough sales for mr cowel to make his money who ever wins...

hats off to the man he is very clever and made himself more famous than the contestants into the bargin.... but I honestly dont care who wins...

remember this is the man who inflicted robson and jerome on the country...

and this



i dont think credability has ever come before money
