It’s alright mate, I don’t think we’re going anywhere with this. I guess you got my point already and I think I got yours too. I’m off to enjoy the excellent result.
Cheers!
Make sure you get into full kit and put your red tinted glasses back on!

This is on you - usually, there are some games between the lowest of low, but it's only around 2 months since we got hammered by Spurs the first 45. That was the worst first half I've seen in 25 years.
But thats because we were a man down. A fecking Moyesie Westham had 12 shots today.

I have always given that. I dont think last season wasn't any worthy to give a credit but that's a whole different discussion.

You didn’t give a credit at all for being 14 league games unbeaten. That’s worth a credit more than moaning for no reason.

I never take them off. Never ;)
I’d invite you to share a drink tonight to celebrate if I could. Hope you’re enjoying the night as much I am despite concerns about the performance.
What makes you think I'm not happy with the win?

I've not stated otherwise...

I dont look at part of the season and say we have been good just to prove a point in a random internet forum. Anyone who thinks getting 66 points a season is a great achievement needs to get their head checked or remove their 'Ole' glasses.

Question about the poll. When is the timeline for the rebuild to be finished? We've been rebuilding ever since LVG was hired. I'm happy for let Ole see out the season, but I'll be dissapointed if we can't get higher than 66 points again.

There is process. Process means step by step. You don’t go from born baby to walking man means you don’t just look at points as the progress because there are deeper things you could actually view it. If you don’t understand that and you can’t see it then I can’t help you.

And some 'Ole fanboys' sound like school children

He’s actually Ole out since he doesn’t think Ole should continue the job for challenging the title. He just bit unsteady right now. So yeah, if you think he sounds like school children that’s because he’s your fellow one.

Dont get me wrong but I didn't ask any !

Its the third fecking year and here we are , talking about step by step process. When you get some time think about how does Ole is the only one who needs a 5 year plan to get things right ?

He must have found the one Moyes left behind in his desk.

You mad?

You don't know how I vote as I haven't been in here crying like a bitch either way

Horrible first half, great second half to make it 9 straight away wins in the PL. Why is this thread even still alive? It’s a fecking disgrace how this thread becomes the match thread every time we go a goal down for the haters.

Important game on Tuesday, happy that Bruno and Marcus got some rest today.

If you showed just the first half today to someone, they would say we were terrible. If instead you just showed them the second half, without showing them the first half, they would say we were pretty good.

I am kind of on the fence, leaning towards keeping him in. What he is doing is relying on the individual brilliance of our players to score. We are not a mourinho team and nor are we a Guardiola team. Like i say it is create chances and goals from individual brilliance and we have really good players.

I still think we need either a world class RW or a world class striker, and a MF.

9 points more onboard, than this time last season, and people still wanna moan and say progress has not been made. We've improved by nearly 50% FFS!!!

Last season was his first full season, so it’s not 3rd years.

I would rather taking it longer to complete the project than taking two years just to achieve 2nd place with 81 points and going backward to zero again. Why would anyone wants a manager with unfinished job and forcing us to go backwards?

I start to get tired of people who say “ relying on individual brilliance” and “clueless”. Think many supporters have to high expectations and does not realise international football has changed. The level has increased; no game in PL or CL is “a walk in the park”.

I agree that the play is not perfect and the bottom line is to low, but the club is heading in the right direction. It’s more easy to see the team-potential, -spirit and the better club-atmosphere. I think many fans should appreciate the work of OGS a lot more.

I also watch when City, LFC and Tottenham play, and no one has impressed this season. I seldom hear their fans complain about their manager.

Actually I feel that Man Utd has more cutting-edge expertise than most other teams, and I don’t understand this is a reason to criticise OGS..

I register a minority of the supporters represent a very negative and poisonous culture, but what do they bring to the table? Which alternative can guarantees a trophy in short term? That’s the next step based on last season.

I still do not think he is the man to win trophies for United. Nothing today has changed my mind. Yes I am happy that we stuffed West Ham and Moysie but we were extremely lucky today. They hit a post, their player lost his footing after beating our keeper and one hit the side netting when he should have scored and our equalizer was out before it came in and just because the linesman fecked it and there was no way VAR could check it we got lucky.

Yes we won and I am happy but he has to make sure we don't start the game this slowly. First 50 mins was atrocious.

But thats because we were a man down. A fecking Moyesie Westham had 12 shots today.
This comment only show how hard you try to convince the fans its a shit result. Because It’s Ole?

Are you implying «Moyesie west ham» is not a good home team in the premier league? they had 5 wins 2 draw and 2 losses before our game today.
I know moyes was bad for us, and I can’t stand his face, but that doesn’t cloud my judgment on how west ham as a team is doing at the moment.Just because it’s Moyes you can’t discredit every job he is doing in the future. West ham away is a tough match, and ole made the right changes to turn the game. It could have ended pretty ugly for west ham as we missed som big chanches

When we are given the opportunity, we have a very strong weapon. Ole has created this weapon, we can’t always use it for 90 min straight, but when we do it’s lethal. And that for me is very important in a footballing aspect as it gives an entertaining approach for me to the game as I know there is a chance to win every game. Given the state we have been in the last 6 years I would call it progress.

Loved the feeling of the comeback. I love the 3 points and the league position. But....

I’m still Ole out. I still think this team is much better than we see. I feel Ole has been so, so lucky and results have been quite flattering.

let’s enjoy the win and the league position, but today’s performance will do little to sway any supporters what ever side of the fence you sit. Sums it all up really.

You never know he could win a league. If he does they need to give him a gold trophy!! Would be the biggest achievement in world football.

I think people are harsh again today.

West Ham away is a tough game and we completely failed to get going first half, but we’d have been delighted with the game, result, and comeback under any manager in the past and probably future. Especially after playing mid week.

We shouldn’t let current lingering doubts about the management alter that.

I personally still can’t shake the feeling that a tactic, press based “modern” manager might be able to get more consistency out of this squad, but results matter and since that shit start we are past it now and look in decent enough shape. And also.. what the feck do I know anyway? I’ll enjoy the games I can enjoy, and a West Ham comeback is always good fun, as was PsG for me and Southampton.

What about the players? There was nothing wrong with our starting 11. Yes we rested a few but that 11 was still far stronger than Westham. Why is Ole to blame? The team was sloppy and players Ole trusted to give him a performance let him down.

It's not always the manager. These players get away with murder.

People are dressing up the unrealistic expectation of a 100% win rate this season while playing the best football they've ever seen at United as a *minimum requirement for a United manager all of a sudden, I have no idea where this set of expectations have come from. I think Liverpool winning the league has broken a lot of people who are yet to recover.

I think the consistency issue is most likely new players of a similar ability to Bruno and Rashford are needed. We saw it today, as clear as you like. As soon as they came on, Bruno led the midfield and even managed to drag Pogba into the game who had been a passenger. Greenwood was coming deep for the ball until Bruno had a go at him and told him to run in behind, after that West Ham looked stretched.

We don't have enough of these leaders on the pitch.

Yeah but “we’ll be better with better players” is true for all managers everywhere crossy.
Koeman would be doing miles better with the 2011 Barca squad.
Not sure how much it adds to any debate to be honest.

Once the players walk out onto the pitch you realise there is nothing he can do to force intensity except making subs right?

Serious question, what would you do to make sure we don't start like that again if you were him?

I agree on west ham away is tough. And west ham have got a point against city & spurs, 3 points against Leicester & only lost 2-1 to Liverpool. Beside, they won their last 3 games in a row so they were on form.

Just saying mate, you take Bruno and Rashford out of that squad and we saw what happens today. Martial doesn't look like he's going to cut it at a top club, Pogba was tragic for 60 minutes, VDB was okay but plays too many short passes. No one took the game by the scruff of the neck and organised the midfield and told the attack to get in behind until Bruno came on. We need more of that on the pitch and I'm not sure any different manager would be able to do much about that issue, and I'm not defending Ole for the sake of it, I truly believe we'd see the same consistency issue but probably flipped with someone like Pochettino. We'd win the games against the bottom half of the table and struggle against the top 8.
