Bruno should get 50% of Ole's salary since January. Singlehandedly keeping him in his job.
We must be watching a different gameThey're not playing for Ole anymore. None of them looked arsed. It's over.
Can't remember many managers being sacked after a victory. The board always act too late. It’ll be once we’ve no hope of achieving anything. We could genuinely win the title this season with Liverpool and City looking a bit off key, and it is wide open atm. A new manager, breath of fresh air, and actual decent tactics, then we could do it.
But we won’t. We will pull the trigger far too late and I cannot fathom why. It’s blatantly obvious we won’t go anywhere with Ole. Then again, for me it’s been obvious since 4 months in the job.
Winning today changes nothing. But it will give him longer. And that’s such a terrible way to manage a situation like this. It’s imbecilic. If you’re contemplating sacking a manager due to ineptitude, and then saying well let’s see if they win the next game, you’re already at a stage where you should sack them. All you do is prolong the agony and make it ten times harder to recover once the inevitable change is made.

You would have said this before our come back, but they were still pressing well across the pitch and covering a lot of ground. They're not playing for Ole anymore. None of them looked arsed. It's over.
Well LVG was sacked after not only winning a match, but the FA Cup. But I’m not suggesting they sack him if we win. I’m saying we should have sacked him before this game, after the Istanbul loss. Can't remember many managers being sacked after a victory.
Think Mark Hughes was sacked after wining for City. Rogers was sacked after a draw at Goodison as Liverpool manager.
Regardless of the result, one game good, one game bad isn't good enough for a team who wants to challenge.

Problem is the difference financially between 1st and 4th isn’t worth the investment. I mean last season we finished 3rd how much money would we need to spend to get to 1st and how much gain financially is not with it for them. It’s just us fans who want the best for the club on the pitch and don’t give a feck how much money they make!Honestly I don't think they care all that much about the winning trophies/on pitch performance as much as we'd like as fans.
They seem to have set the bar at UCL qualification and nothing more so long as the money keeps rolling in so there's little interest in actually making sure the club is ran properly. Kind of like Arsenal of the late Wenger years.
It's just sad that the next fall guy is someone who loves and actually gives a feck about the club like Ole instead of the leeches and dunces making the decisions.

His contribution to United has been unusually high. Even higher than the likes of messi or Ronaldo. Without Bruno, Ole would have been sacked long time ago. But, I guess Ole is just lucky enough to have such a great player. Unfortunately, his dependency on his individual brilliance and other players will not be the answer to take us back on top.Bruno should get 50% of Ole's salary since January. Well duh, we've been awful pretty much the entire season and just come off the back of two pathetic defeats. A third loss in a row would be enough to drive even the most loyal fan crazy.this post lasted well!
i bet the Caf went mad as soon as we conceded. So many fans I bet immediately jumped online with outrage aimed at the team.
Bruno and Fred saving him.
I think this is Oles Jose versus Newcastle moment where Pogba and Martial saved him.
With the players we have your are due some good play no matter the manager so until we are consistent and climb the table to an acceptable position it's too soon to give any credit.

Lucky..Ffs he bought this player himselfHis contribution to United has been unusually high. Even higher than the likes of messi or Ronaldo. Without Bruno, Ole would have been sacked long time ago. Without Kane Poch wouldn’t have lasted as long at spurs either. His contribution to United has been unusually high. Even higher than the likes of messi or Ronaldo. Is that backed by science?
I’m not sure why do you need to say such thing like the players save him.
Fred was considered flop under Mourinho and Ole somehow managed to develop or improve his game to suit PL and the team itself which something Mourinho couldn’t do. Bruno is Ole’s signing, it’s part of manager job to identify the right player for the recruitment and getting the best out of player to play in the manager’s system. There are some credits you have to give for that.
It is a rough estimate, I recalled a thread that Bruno contributed is above 50%. Not sure how that compares to Ronaldo and Messi, but i would be shocked if it wasn’t similar. Not complaining because Bruno is keeping us from relegation and in contention for top four among other things. I just hope he doesn’t think he is to good for United and start angling for a Real Madrid move, which seem likely. Is that backed by science?
Until there is consistency it is just individual quality shining through. And we are the most inconsistent team in the league.
Ole signed Bruno, does that negate or add to his luck?It is a rough estimate, I recalled a thread that Bruno contributed is above 50%. I’ve seen it all now, fred, the one most hated is now supposedly keeping Ole on a job
Love this forum sometimes for a quick cheer up
I keep seeing "changing managers will not win us anything, there are bigger problems". Do people actually think we would go back to winning trophies with these coaches combined with the Glazers and Ed. The coaching staff are all underqualified bar maybe McKenna. It's not that Ole's quality is unknown like Arteta or Pep at Barca, his past credentials proves to be not good enough to coach this team. And frankly speaking because of this under qualification he'd have to be put on a very short leash and have to prove himself every time from day 1.
Ole would have to do something extraordinary before he gets people to actually believe he is good enough for the job. Zidane and Pep were under qualified too. What did Zidane do? He won three champions league in a row before people actually started giving him credit and even then you still heard that it was possible because of Ronaldo until he won the league without him. Pep won the treble and played arguably the most dominant style of football ever. None of Zidane or Pep would have lasted if they didn't start doing the unthinkable immediately. People are expecting Ole to get praises because he got us 3rd and three semi finals should keep dreaming. He will never get the credit you think he deserves unless he wins us the league
Consistency can be improved by having better quality players. Having better quality players can obtained by two things, one is signing top quality players and two is training the players for example young players with potential world class who are still not world class can develop and improve year by year into world class players. For example, Rashford, Martial & Greenwood are on this transition.
Fred keeping Ole in a job The same fred not good enough for the league or team under MourinhoIn this game yes. Himself and Bruno dragged us back into the game.
The point is that until there is consistent it is individual quality making moments.
45 mins away from our best PL away record in 27 years
poch went to the champions league final and made top four in a season where Kane was absent for most of it. Ole was lingering in one of our worst run of form, until we bought Bruno and he started to changed our fortune a bit.Without Kane Poch wouldn’t have lasted as long at spurs either.
we can all make shit up
No one expected him to be this good as if he was, he would have cost more than what we have bought him for, which would have turned us of, as most staff at United was hesitant in purchasing him, as seen with us waiting till January to get him.Lucky..Ffs he bought this player himself
We're playing too well, bring Pogba and James in.
You’re right there! He saved us from relegation !!!poch went to the champions league final and made top four in a season where Kane was absent for most of it. Ole was lingering in one of our worst run of form, until we bought Bruno and he started to changed our fortune a bit.

So you’re saying ole has improved him more that anyone could have imagined? I agreepoch went to the champions league final and made top four in a season where Kane was absent for most of it.
