If he has any respect for us he should have long resigned, or at the very least put pressure publicly on Woodward and (most importantly) the owners with regard to players coming in. He's doing neither, and coupled with the fact that he's extremely shit at being a manager... well, the fraud needs to be sent back to Molde where he belongs.

He'll always be with us, he'll die a red, just doesn't belong in the dugout currently.

Man Utd fans should take some of the blame also since it was some of our screaming numtpies chanting "JOSE MOURINHO!" during games whilst LvG was still manager, fans are just as shit as woodward at picking coaches.

I completely agree with Michael Cox. I had some positive feelings even after the 3-1 defeat to City this month. But, now I'm convinced that Solskjaer is a mediocre or even a below-average coach. I believe he's doing his best sincerely. It's just not good enough for Man Utd.
My choice would be a DOF (in the next two months) and Allegri over the summer.

Why not get Pochettino now? We still have a few things to fight for, don't want any United ex player close to the club please.
Carrick is just sat there lifeless.
You’re right about Carrick - giving it to him would be far dumber than sticking with Ole.

But Poch is not the answer at all. He turned a perfectly decent Spurs team to pure shite.

What we need is a manager with at least some experience. Perhaps someone who has won a league abroad. Preferably a guy with connections to Man Utd and will commit his entire future to us.

Ole does fit that bill and I see plenty of progress and he is doing the hard miles that most managers would avoid. Problem is there are just too many shite results and too many shocking performances.

Was very tempted to change my vote - the cumulative toll of disappointment is getting to me a bit. I hope we see it through to better times but I’m starting to worry that Ed will sack him soon. I would be okay with that as long as we get someone who fits the profile and will build on Ole’s decent work on the foundations. I’m sick of the two year cycle - it’s total bollocks and will have us languishing where we are or worse if it continues.

This is not even Ole out related but do people REALLY believe in " not even X can coach this bunch, improve or at least make them look better " narative?

Also, cant believe there are naive people out there who think that he will resign. His own interest are on top of prio list and puting food on the table for his family.

There are clear signs of bad coaching and tactics.....

We outplayed Burley today, until they scored out of fecken nothing. They had a freekick on the midfield. And our new skipper lost another duel in the box. We got the tactics right, the player seemed to be coached alright, but Ole can't score for Martial. Ole can be blamed for starting Pereira, because nobody else than Ole sees what he brings to the game today.

The longer we keep Ole, the less likely any player to want to join us.

What in gods name are you watching? Was the commentators there at the stadium constantly banging on about how absolutely shocking we looked upfront tactically not drumming it home for you? Yes we missed some chances, but guess what, Liverpool, Man City, you know some of the top players in the world yadda yadda yadda all miss sitters too, infact City are top of the table in terms of chances missed I believe, the issue is we literally create sod all because our attacking game plan is so poorly coached that we don't move, we barely threaten, i could go on.

We did not "outplay" Burnley, we had more possession of the ball yes but did absolutely nothing with it, bar the couple of chances we had Burnley were comfortable at the back all game, which guess what, is their usual game plan, why are we lumping it into the box against bloody Burnley with the likes of Mata on the field? Come on man, open your eyes

Every single time Chelsea lose or draw we go on and lose as well. We could have been 4th by a margin at this point with the amount of points Chelsea has dropped. Never have I seen a season where top 4 has been so free yet we are going to finish around 6th and let this shit Chelsea side who didn't sign a single player take it.

Disastrously incompetent ownership accompanied with a useless manager. People should expect nothing less. Results like these are only to be expected under such idiotic leadership.

"The boys are doing well"...by well does he mean rubbish?
I really can't get my head around half the nonsense that spews out of his mouth.

Please resign Ole.

We in no way outplayed Burnley, we played right into their hands because our manager couldn't out tactic a paper bag if it doesn't give him 60 yards of space to run into.

They know we struggle to put away chances if we cant counter attack so they let us have the ball and sat deep. They also know we're terribly coached defensively and at set pieces, so they knew they'd get good chances there eventually and they put them away when they inevitably came.

This is pure delusion, I have no idea how anyone can still pretend Ole is anything other than an utterly incompetent manager at this point

It’s a nonsense but it’ll be the go to for those who don’t want to attribute the football on the pitch to the coaching team and believe the blame lies entirely with the board.

There’s no denying our board is shite but so are Newcastle’s, so was Liverpool’s under Rafa, Burnley spend about £6 a season, Levy basically closed the bank account on Poch for four years, Arsenals board for years had been shite under Wenger.
We are four points above Newcastle and Burnley. I don’t remember Liverpool looking this incompetent under Rafa or Arsenal this bad under Wenger. And we saw what Poch did at Spurs.

But yeah the fact that there are genuinely people on this board that for example reckon someone like Pochettino or any other coach would not be an upgrade on Ole tells you all you need to know about the mass scale delusion that grips a section of our fanbase.

If "the boys are giving everything" and lose 2:0 to Burnley then we are truly fooked as a football club.

Could lose 0-3 to Carlsisle United and he would still spew nonsense about how his "boys" are "giving their all" and "trying their best" Absolutely pathetic.

It’s really really sad to see, man. Honestly. I genuinely feel for him. He’s so far out of his depth.

Many opposition fans want us to keep him, naturally. And there is a large group of deluded ones.

I am still among the 46.4% and have been throughout, not because I believe Solskjaer is up to the job (he very obviously is not), but because I don't see any option other than to continue with him at the helm until the end of the season.

However, we should not go in to next season with Solskjaer still in the job.

It's incredible.

Every single non-United football fan is aware the Conte would've taken over Mourinho's side, tweaked it and had us solid top 3. But a section of our fanbase would have you believe that's nonsense else "not the United way", which I think most of this boils down to, these guys just love that Ole has done things the "united way" in their eyes.

Just one of those days - 24 shots, if we take the early chances it’s probably 3 points. Not much Ole can do at this stage if Martial can’t hit the back of the net with those chances until he gets another striker he wants. Onwards and upwards boys. UTFR!

I don't get this angle. He's the worst manager in the Premier league bar none. Tonight we could've been 3 points off 4th spot with Chelsea themselves being nothing short of shaky the whole season under another inexperienced manager.

If we get top 4 we will be in a much better position next year under a better manager, and you don't want that?

It has been blatantly obvious he's our worst appointment in our whole history, yet you don't want him sacked considering the terrible form he has been on since March?

Season's gone, the team hasn't been good enough all season apart from a few games against bigger teams. The board doesn't want to invest in players he wants because they know he is just seatwarming like Mourinho in his last summer. No will want to manage us until the season's over, so we have to stick with Ole until the end of the season and get rid after. He's got some of the deadwood out. Hopefully the new manager is watching us closely and will continue to do the same, whilst understanding what team needs.

Give him time, some keep saying. As if time is going to teach him how to set up a defence, organise attack, manage the squad and just overall basic management.
