All match going fans I know wanted rid of all 3 way before they were fired. Especially mistake one and three.
Jose fans on here were pretty insistent matchgoers were behind him and the people here weren't representative of true fans. Basically you're not the first set of manager backers to resort to the "appeal to matchgoers opinions" fallacy

I’m talking about a dozen or so living around 10 miles or closer who went out celebrating when Jose got sacked all who are regulars so stop talking nonsense just because it doesn’t suit your opinion.

That's not the point of what I said. Look at the post again if you can

On the Spurs forum 36% want Poch out. I imagine most voting sack here want Poch in. Funny old game.

There has to be a plan if they'd sack Ole now. I don't believe Ole is the greatest manager in the league, but I don't believe we'd be better off in two or three years if we sack him before January.
Then we'll get a new manager with another philosophy, and he'll want his own players, building the team around Mata and Lingard. I hope Ole can turn it around, sooner rather than later, and continue the fire-sale and clearout while hitting on his incoming transfers. If we don't progress I am fine with Ole just setting the first stone in a new foundation, but I don't want us to start over and over.

We don't need three points against Liverpool, but we need a positive performance. And then we need to start bringing in some wins against Norwich, Bournemouth, Brighton, Sheffield, and Villa.

I agree.

Unfortunately for me the last paragraph is the biggest problem. The results are shocking but we don’t even have the positive performances to give us hope that we are backing the right man. We look abject, completely clueless and borderline unmotivated. I genuinely believe we will start ok tomorrow but as soon as they go ahead we will roll over and die. I’d be amazed if this forum is anything but doom and gloom this time tomorrow. We have a good run of games to follow but I can’t see us taking advantage of that either. I’d love to see ole be the right man for the job but where do we draw the line? If we get battered tomorrow and then continue to struggle with the upcoming easier fixtures then I’m afraid it’s ole out for me with a heavy heart.

What did he say?

He's publically backed Ole in investor calls saying he knew there would be short term pain but Ole has a plan long term and he's not concerned etc.

Bottom line is Ole didn't change his lineup enough in the summer and was overly optimistic in his playing squad. He's ultimately responsible for that.

Klopp made changes immediately at Liverpool and every season until he's got what he wants. Check out Klopps first Liverpool lineup to now. Only Milner remains in the lineup. With Origi and Lallana staying as squad players.

Ole from when he took over as Caretaker til now is too similar to expect big improvements. Maguire, AWB and James have been great additions but quite simply we still needed more. The lineup and squad was weakened by letting Fellaini and Herrera go. If he's somehow lucky enough to keep his job until January, he should aim to put it right and sign a midfielder, number 10 and striker.

Overhauls work when you buy good players.

Nothing has changed. Ole is still a coward as a manager; he went back to his bus parking ways in the second half, he still doesn't make proactive substitutions, there's still no attacking plan except to counter attack. Liverpool were average and there for the taking today.

Out.

Still on the side of keep.

Good performance today, unfortunate not to win against the current best team in the country and one of the best in Europe.

Still needs to go. Next weekend will answer the question. If we cannot get an attacking game plan together for Norwich he needs to go.

Let’s see him get this kind of performance out of the team in the next game.

22% win rate in league. 25% win rate in season so far. How much worse must it get before he loses his job?

We have only won 5 games in the last 24, it's shocking and since Chelsea we cannot score more than 1 goal a game for 11 games now... It's a joke and one we would all laugh hard at if it was happening to a rival or other big European team.

Apparently according to quite a lot of our fans he had a masterclass today, outsmarting Klopp. If our board thinks the same, we will need to wait quite a bit more.

It's amazing isn't it? Liverpool were below par today and there for the taking. But Ole sent out a bunch of kittens in the second half.

I get that people in here have obvious agendas they want to push but i still find it staggering that he's not getting some credit for that today.

Nobody expected us to do as well as that.

How is this even a question? 10 points in 9 games. Full fecking stop, this guy is a coward and very bad at management and has no vision at all, and also a fecking yes man, he can not win games, simply. Can not play attacking football, and many more issues. I don't know when is the right time to sack him! Next season at this time if we managed to stay at P.L? Come on we need fecking something to change.

After the last match, I'd really want those who talk all day about "attacking pattern" or whatever that shit is to enlighten me what "attacking pattern" Klopp employed.

All I saw was passing around aimlesly and relying heavily on his 2 FB for crosses. If you'd call that "attacking pattern" then well we usually play exactly the same, except for the quality of the crosses though.

The nonexistent second half management by Solskjaer is precisely why i have zero faith in him and can't wait for him to go.

He can get us to be a plucky side here and there, but we're never going to win anything anytime soon with him in charge.

He takes maximum credit for the first half.

Zero credit for the second half.

He played an attacking style in the first half because he had to. When it became a choice at half time, he made the wrong one. Nothing in the game said we should park the bus 2nd half but Ole decided to and far too early at that. Cost us 2 points.

Yeah, but whose fault is that to begin with?

I still want him gone but I don't have any real complaints with today. I thought he mostly did well with what we had and we nearly snuck a win so fair play.

I still think however that we'll go to Norwich next week and look just as bad as we did against Newcastle and that's the problem.

Yup, spot on.

Happy we ended up Pools winning run as well.

Today the players played for their reputations and the glory of beating Liverpool.

The cnuts better put it in the same way every other game too.

If Ole can improve next 2 games, I want to see it this gamble works it or not. We need to score more than a goal per game

He has no clue about game management. Today was a day we would have beaten them if he got the subs right and manage the game better.
You don't bring in Martial when you are leading with 10 mins to go and the midfield out of gas.
Ole is to blame for us conceding because the players were gone. When you are gone you make mistakes. He should have brought his subs on and all of his subs.
Now people will claim that we nearly beat the CL champions and the fact we didn't is because of Ole.

Does the same thing apply to any team that ever concedes at 1-0 up? When we won the European cup in 99 was it because Hitzfeld 'had no clue about game management'?

Not related to today, but I saw a stat that it's the 8th time this season. It's not an isolated incident.

In terms of today we started very well, not sure why we changed the plan in the 2nd. Liverpool didn't look like threatening.

There was no need to sit that deep and inviting all the pressure for last 20 minutes or so. We were in control. Disappointed!
