Just to be clear.

For people who think Ole is a fraud and a joke.

How many points should United have this year?
More than we have now.

The quality of the answer is commensurate to the quality of the question.

It's a terrible joke and others pointed it too.

I mean this is the argument that is usually put forth by you guys every time we drop points. How can a better team <us> drop points to <our opponent>. And if that happened, our manager was outwitted by the opposition manager.

I have never liked those posts, and it probably is a reflection of what happens on here after every draw/loss

The whataboutism from some on here is just next level. We have failed to take points at home against most of our main rivals, in fact we've dropped plenty of points to them. And don't give me that nonsense about no crowds, we're still playing on 'our' pitch and don't have to travel.
What's your explanation for there being more away wins (43%) than home wins (38%) across the 114 PL games so far?

Any credit for our excellent away record if home with no fans holds such an advantage in your opinion?

We should be fighting for this open title with this injury free squad. But instead we our doing a yo yo as usual. They said we was on an upward trajectory long term plan.

No its not. Its a lazy comparison between a manager who has no established pedigree to fall back on when playing inconsistently and a manager who is a proven winner.

Your "comparison" is massively shite to be honest.

I'd be happy with a consistent and cohesive style of play. The points would look after themselves if that happened. We have the quality.

Okay.

So you’re happy with the results you’d just like us to play better?

Btw - injury free squad? what on Earth?

We replied. Him winning the league and CL last 2 years has to play a role in it.

People want Ole out because they don't think he's good enough to win us the big prizes. Plain and simple.

Just to be clear.

For people who think Ole is a fraud and a joke.

Ole is not a fraud or a joke. He just isn't good enough to win us the title. His conservative style of football is not befitting of a club with such resources and talent.

He should be in the CL. Not be a coward in home games against rivals. At the end of the season due to him not being good enough we won't be with in 10 points of the winner. LVG was top of the table during Leicester's title win if I remember correctly.

I want the club to be proactive, the league is there to be won, get a better manager in and give it a proper go. Not be cowardly like we were yesterday.

This league is there for the taking. Reminds of the LCFC winning season where the champion will probably have points in the low 80s and we'll still probably finish outside the top 4.

Going out from a German too after losing 3-2 too..

I think this is our big mistake. We will act when it is far too late and throw ANOTHER season like we did that season. In that season up unitl week 13 we were still close to the top after drawing Leicester. But our incosistency was plain obvious and our gameplan was pretty much awful. Then December happened, and the season was lost. I fear the same will happen this season.

Just to be clear - you don’t think you can do the same for every single manager in the prem at the moment?
Does the same count for all managers or just Ole? Every time they've been knocked out of a cup they've messed up tactically?

I like the last one.
Yes, we can do it for other managers. And with them you will find win, win, loss, win, loss......
With Ole it is; loss, loss, loss, loss.....
He is tactically bad manager. How is that not clear to you after two years?

Thank you for answering me by the way.

I genuinely think that’s a good measure of people who understand football/people who don’t.

If you think the current manager should be sacked but can’t tell me how many more points he should have, then you’re obviously in trouble.

Similarly, if you’re saying the manager should be sacked because he should have beat PSG and have maybe three more points in the league he’s in trouble.

Furthermore, if your answe is that United should have nine more points in the league and be clearly top of the league out performing everyone else then you would be in trouble.

I guess something nebulous like “style of play” makes sense. I’m happy with 14 goals in our last eight games personally.

Well with Ole our last five results in the league have been:

Win, win, win, win, draw

But I get it. Ole once managed Cardiff so he’s not good enough.

He was in the CL. He qualified for it. He then played against half of last year’s semi finalists.

Is your argument this year to be clear:

A) he should go for it more against Man City and attack them.
B) he should have qualified from his CL group?

No its not. Its a lazy comparison between a manager who has no established pedigree to fall back on when playing inconsistently and a manager who is a proven winner.

Your "comparison" is massively shite to be honest.

Firstly, the initial post was a joke and an exaggeration. Not sure if people on here have stopped treating these posts as such, unless white text is used.

Secondly, around the proven winner bit - that is an argument isn't really based on sound logic as Solskjaer hasn't won anything of note yet. So, if we win a title say this year or 3 years later or 4 years later with Ole, would you come back to this time frame and say we weren't consistent? No, right? As being consistent or not is independent of who the manager is - be it SAF or Moyes or anyone else. You're either consistent over a specific time period or not. And the post was just pointing out that arguably the greatest manager right now is struggling to get results consistently. How can the worst manager in the league manage to do that?!

Which manager do you want in? What is their knockout record in this two year time frame that proves everything?

ZERO points dropped and unbeaten in every competition is what it seems like when seeing the complaints from the insufferables.

The Problem is all those goals are from counter attacking or moments of individual brilliance or luck or wrong VAR decisions. Even Garry bloody Neville has admitted that Ole has no clue how to attack. All Ole knows is sit back defend ruin the other team's game and hope to score on the counter or by luck.

You've brought the thesaurus out for that one. Well done mate. You look well intelligent on an internet forum.

A) I have seen enough of him over a 100 games incharge to know his conservative style over the next half year will not win us the title this year when it is there to be won. Liverpool's team is dead with injuries and we saw what City is now. It is the best time to win the title with the healthy squad we have.
B) Yes. That RBL squad is there only due to its manager. None of their players makes our first 11.

Ah okay.

So good managers will inevitably score more than us.

Interestingly I don’t think there’s any team that has scored more than us in the CL and Prem this year.

Just look at his account name, Wumminator, what else do you want ? Just a wum really. Don't take his posts this seriously. I don't think he even does!

It looks worse.

We didn't benefit from all other teams dropping silly points. Could have gained great momentum and jumped places.

It looks worse? Our weekend would look better with Spurs and Pool winning?

You’re veering into "can a loss be a win?" territory with this one.

I use a big word and people who don’t understand criticise me.

I mean...
Hilarious. You didn't know what it meant until 5 minutes ago. Funny how you start using words like nebulous and elucidate when trying to insult people's intelligence.

Sack Klopp! Or Parker! They drew.

Klopp won the PL just last year. He won the CL before that. That buys him time.
Sack Parker yes.

Let's also add that Klopp's team are in joint 1st and will likely win the league
They also made it to the next round in the CL.
To even suggest that Klopp and Ole should be mentioned in the same breath is lunacy and delusional.
Ole is completely out of ideas and is relying on Bruno to keep him in a job.

Dortmund sacked Favre. Idiots. If they gave him time he could have become Hitzfeld.

Okay. So the games you are judging him on.. we didn’t have an injury hit squad? Rashford/Martial/Pogba have all missed significan months of that time with injury. But when it happens to Liverpool we get the excuses in.
Considering
Woo's got the worst GD in the top 10. Oh yeah us...

We lost a ten goal swing to Tottenham in a game where we were punished by VAR. Let’s check after a full season.

It looks worse?

You’re veering into "can a loss be a win?" territory with this one.

If we had won, we would have widened the gab with City, decreased the gab with Spurs and Liverpool, and matches Chelsea points tally.

It was a dream week for us and City were really rubbish yesterday. Was a very winnable match imo.
