Guess the draw doesn't look that bad now, does it?

This is the fecking reason why we should have gone for the win yesterday. Happy with a point- laughable attitude.

How you all who are Olein are not concerned how many games, important games, he messed up tactically? Just to name most important (knockout) games;

Leipzig; went with 7 defenders and lost game in first half basically.
City in league cup; went with 2 midfielders, City could have scored 6 or 7 in first half.
Chelsea in FA cup. Total mess. Changed lineup and formation. Then he neither won a game or rested the players.
Sevilla in EL. Didn't do much wrong but we lost the game

And his subs in general .....that is just comical. But he will learn, right?
Does the same count for all managers or just Ole? Every time they've been knocked out of a cup they've messed up tactically?

I like the last one.

A strange season. A few wins and we’re, on paper, title challengers... a few loses and we’re 13-14th.

I have a feeling it’ll go like that..we’ll most probably at one stage be 4th-2nd but in the end we’ll end up where we are now. Or could be the reverse, a few defeats and we’ll be 13-14th but by the end of the season we’ll be where we are now.

Never as good or bad as we might appear at any snapshot when praise or criticism is highest

It looks worse.

We didn't benefit from all other teams dropping silly points. Could have gained great momentum and jumped places.

It got worse as every other rival dropped points. Missed opportunity.

Christ! Teams are going to drop points left right and centre this season. Hell Liverpool haven't won 2 on the trot since October!

Its important to not lose pace with the top of the table adn we'd be more than fine come the end of the season

Honestly the league is so open its a real shame we didn't do our best to prepare for it.

That's oar for the course with this club though

...

Does this mean Liverpool/City and Spurs have laughable attitudes?
Liverpool could very easily have conceded 3 in the first half so in context it's a good point coming back from behind.

Jose is Jose so I think he'd always be happy with a point. They also should have won and should be disappointed.

City coasted through the game. If I was a City fan I'd be really unhappy with the way they played yesterday.

So far his most consistent patches have racked up some incredible points return, so if from now we can stay on this unbeaten run and put together another 15 games or so, we will be right in for a shout come end of the season. For this reason I can't see the board even contemplating the idea yet of getting rid. With our upcoming games I can easily see this team picking up form and grabbing quite a few wins, Just need to find the consistency and keep it going.

I think we can be confident. As long as we are in touching distance from the top in Jan, we should be interesting to watch in the league.

This league is there for the taking. Reminds of the LCFC winning season where the champion will probably have points in the low 80s and we'll still probably finish outside the top 4.

True. But just like that season we’ll be nowhere it. Atleast LVG gave us false hope for a month.

Either you are missing the point completely or just acting that way..
Spurs, City and Liverpool threw everything to win while we didn't.

Sack Klopp! Or Parker! They drew.

Exactly. Klopp has to be sacked for that. How could his side be outplayed by fecking Fulham, who are the favourites to go down. Compare the squad value, compare the wages. There is no justification how Klopp can continue as the manager.

Plus, Klopp's side lacks consistency. They haven't won 2 games on the trot since October. Manager has to take the blame here.

We have a pretty easy run coming up and have players that have been out of form. If Martial can show the form he had at the end of last season, the defence can play like they did against City and Greenwood/Rashford can stay consistent then we should be right in the mix before playing Liverpool.

This is Ole's first real test.

Well, thats how people react when we draw.
Liverpool were fairly lucky to not get beat in that match so of course in the context of the game a point for them is acceptable. Also lost their only remaining CB at half-time.

Fulham getting a draw against Liverpool is an achievement. If you are comparing Fulham's aspirations to Manchester United's then you're genuinely not right in the head.

Probably him winning the league and CL last 2 seasons has to play a role in it.

You honestly need to take a rest. Continuously defending Ole by such ridiculous comparisons hurts your credibility.

Not trying to win looks even worse. The league is there for the taking but Ole is just concerned with saving his job.
Imagine a new manager bounce like Ole got when he joined.

They're sitting second in the league and still in the champions league with a ton of injuries. Completely different scenario considering we are out of the UCL and can only win the more points since Bruno league.

The whataboutism from some on here is just next level. We have failed to take points at home against most of our main rivals, in fact we've dropped plenty of points to them. And don't give me that nonsense about no crowds, we're still playing on 'our' pitch and don't have to travel.

It's not like this guy is known for going on long runs against the worse sides where we win 10 in a row (interim period notwithstanding). The arguments being made (in this very same thread) last season was how good he was against the top sides.

Now he's clearly lost that 'edge' (hint: he never had it, they just figured his crap negative tactics out and strengthened defences) and all of a sudden a draw against City who were there for the taking AND still should have scored at least one, is an amazing result.

All in all, it looks alright now but we'll just fall off the pace slower than previous years due to the other teams being less consistent but in the end one of Ole's 'runs' will have us competing for Europa League slots by the end of the season. That is assuming Bruno doesn't get injured and he actually manages the squad well (hint2: he won't).

Finally, when the Europa League begins, he'll probably try playing his best players twice a week and even if we are anywhere near at that point, he'll still fail. It's all so predictable but of course, I'm being negative for expecting him to do the same things he's been doing for 2 years now and the true believers known he'll change and reach the holy grail of top 4.

I'm sorry but if you dont understand a joke without explicitly marking it as one, I can't help you.

Imagine having Rashford and Pogba injured having to play Brandon Williams and still being joint top. You couldn’t because our manager isn’t that level. He needs 11 world class players just to make a title challenge.

If we go on an unbeaten run similar to the second half of last season, we could be 1st or very very close. Time for everyone to step back off the bridge, no need to jump.

Do Liverpool not have 11 world class players?

Stupid post. Just give it a rest, pal.

that’s lots of ifs. The consistency of this team is shocking. I find it difficult to anticipate the team. Players need to show up week in week out. The discussion always goes towards the manager but the players are not performing the way they should. They need to show some urgency on the pitch.

with all that said, if we win our game in hand, we’ll jump over chelsea who apparently are doing very well under Lampard and will be 2 points off tottenham who have probably had their best start ever. haters just like to hate
