Wot, no transfers?

Absolute rubbish. Disgraceful that a club the size of Utd cant get anyone in. Absolute shite.

We'll need the January transfer window badly I think. Hopefully things don't get too bad until then.

Honestly, I am a bit relieved that the window is closed. We were linked with a bunch of players who I don't think would really improve us at all.

There are so many little bitches on here, it's unbearable. Have some balls ffs. I'm not happy with our business either but this is still a good team and we will be competitive.

Would've liked a ball playing cb but to be honest, I'm ok with what we've done. Sanchez in January, Fred in the summer.....now it's up to Jose to get the best out of the players he does have, and we have some brilliant players. There's no pressure from fans to win the league. Just play better.

Sink or swim Jose.

We can still lose Martial and Pogba in the next 2 weeks. Let that sink in.

However it could be worse, we could be Spurs fans right now.

Okay, but sir Alex was not too keen either to spend big. We have identified wrong players since than with managers playing poor football and missing out on strategic signings. And Who hired these managers in the first place ?

I think SAF was protecting the club as he always did during Edwards time.

They signed a backup player for £60M great business.

Still, we should have signed Mahrez, because we would have made good use of him.

If you think Mahrez is going to be a backup player, you're wrong.

What a shambles. Not only that we failed to sign anyone, we also failed to sell the likes of Jones, Shaw, Darmian who are basically stealing a living (although there is still a chance we sell Darmian a bit later this month). Yet another season playing 9 vs 11.

Pretty relaxed about it right now. I'm just glad we didn't end up panic buying the likes of Zouma and Mina.

Now we can finally focus on the most important thing.

We’ve signed a Brazilian international who’ll undoubtedly improve our midfield (whom City wanted too, by the way) and one of Europe’s most promising right-backs. Why are the emotional bellends crying like babies? We finished second last season and lost none of our big guns. It’s not been a superbly brilliant window but it’s been far from the dystopia many are banging on about. Get a grip, ffs.

Come on, you'd never heard of Dalot a few months ago. Fred is (probably) a great signing but we've barely covered natural attrition.

Counting Grant is similar to counting the community shield as a trophy. A third choice keeper to allow a young player to leave on loan.

We signed one player for the first team and a promising youngster. That's it. Net spend around 50m which will probably go down a bit once we sell either or both Darmian and Rojo.
And? We still signed 3 players, whether they turn out to be just what we were looking for who knows, it would of been good to get a couple more in, let a couple go maybe but people on here a losing the fecking plot because we didn’t sign a Columbian who no one knew feck all about a couple of weeks ago.

I fully expect us to go on and do the treble this season now.:)

I remember us signing a 35 year-old keeper and subsequently closing a seemingly insurmountable gap to win the league with the help of a Frenchman. The omens bode well.

Unfortunately that's only half the battle, now we'll have to read about all the players wanting out and them being unhappy. It's going to be along 2 weeks now can already see the Pogba headlines being prepped by regular trash sources.

I think it is good that the big clubs try and avoid spending silly money. It is time that the agents realise, they cannot just put any price tag that they want. Hopefully now that there has been less spending, the market will be more sensible and sustainable. I mean, come on, Maguire for 85 million? People are having a laugh if they think United are going to pay anything upwards of 50 million for him.

haha. I don't think anyone is losing their shit because we didn't sign Mina. More that we didn't strengthen the central defense, get a competent left back, a right sided attacker or backup to Lukaku. 19 points off City and we got one player for the first XI. Great ambitions.

You can be on a higher moral ground when you are Relaxed as a club Like Bayern and Madrid are. We are going nowhere.

The board are to blame unfortunately. I have zero confidence in them finding the right manager after him. We'll end up with McKenna in charge because he 'knows the club', when in fact they mean "cheapest option, won't complain about transfers, will do more".

Nah, we'll keep plugging away until we hit gold with the right boss.
Still think we should have gone with Giggs after Moyes, but that option was desperately unpopular here.

Well there is still some hope. Teams have until 19:00 to finalise transfers as long as they submitted there paperwork by 17:00.

Congratulations to Spurs on there title win, being the first team not to sign a player in the summer transfer window
