888 have over/under fouls markets up for those games, Col/Uru is 33/20 over 36.5, Bra/Chi is 1/2 over 28.5. For info, this is how many fouls each of these teams has had in their games so far:

Colombia: 33, 25, 29
Uruguay: 38, 29, 38
Brazil: 26, 31, 33
Chile: 27, 29, 39

Cheers Jimmy. Over 36.5 is a tough one...might have to give it a miss.

Chile to have more possession at 4/1
Chile over 15.5 fouls at 1.65 (inc. Extra time)
Brazil-Chile Over 30.5 fouls & Colombia over 51.5% possession at 2/1

Gone for Chile to lead at half time; Brazil to lead after 90 mins. 25/1 and put on £2.
And Brazil to lead at half time; draw after 90 mins. 16/1 and put on £4.

What do people think of this "Chile to have more possession" bet at 4/1? Tempted to put more on it. From memory the odds on Brazil to have less than 51.5% possession was only 2.2 so I can't figure out why there's such a huge difference between the two bets. Chile are great at winning the ball back and recycling possession and their only real problem has been that final pass. Brazil aren't exactly possession kings either.

Colombia is at around 2.00. I'm thinking of going big on that.

Still eight hours until that, will probably change my mind 17 times until then.

That's 5.0 in decimal, right? Sounds like a really good value. Especially if Brazil first score.

Just put some dosh on a Uruguay player getting a red in the second half.

Also got dosh on them going through to the next round. I really want Colombia to kick those cheating pricks to the curb but at least if Uruguay win I will be financially compensated.

I'm thinking the same. Just a warning though, the last time I felt this confident about a World Cup bet was when I bet on Bosnia to qualify @ 1.85 during the Iran vs Nigeria match

Not done a bet for a few days. Gone for a long shot:

Brazil v Chile over 2.5
Holland v Mexico over 2.5
Columbia v Uruguay over 2.5
Costa Rica
France
Germany

£7.50 returns £300.

In 2006 Germany went to extra time against Argentina and Italy (2/3 knockout rounds)
In 2002 South Korea went to extra time against Italy and Spain. Japan didn't go to extra time (2/4 knockout rounds)
In 1998 France went to extra time against Paraguay and Italy (2/4 knockout rounds)
In 1994 the USA didn't go to extra time (0/1 knockout rounds)
In 1990 Italy went to extra time against Argentina (1/3 knockout rounds)
In 1986 Mexico went to extra time against West Germany (1/2 knockout rounds)

8/17 rounds.

Current odd on betfair 4.5, exchange 4.6 (5% comission)

Good luck have fun

Edit: btw if that wasnt clear, its looking at how often the hosts go to extra time

Just one smallish bet for starters, Chile to score first in first half @ 4.40.

EDIT: So much for that, Brazil 1-0.

I believe they are going by FIFA. And think it can change still, don't yet count on it being dead.

Have we missed something though, was it really Luiz's goal?

Ya'll welcome! 9/18 now

Wait, own goals mean the second goalscorer wins first goalscorer for some bookies? The more you know.....though I rarely do first goalscorer anyway.

Hope you took it. In regular time they even had close to 55%. Chile, that is, of course.

Got a double Chile-Brazil Draw BTTS with Colombia(-1) going.....be nice if that comes through.

Just threw an random tenner on Brazil to win the shootout. Favourites rarely lose, if ever, lose international shootouts.

Had a Chile/Colombia qualify double :(

Alexis any time scorer @ 5 made up for it though. On Colombia to win in an hour.
