I'll just avoid this forum and Twitter till tomorrow so I will be in a good mood all evening.

Threads like this one are useful for populating your Ignore list. Once the noisy fair-weather ”fans” are weeded out this is an enjoyable place for actual supporters.

I know, but we're down to bare bones in midfield, and I never thought I'd say this, but we can't afford for Fred to get injured, too.

Just now got through saying that in another thread funnily enough.

A combination of youth and Matic would suffice. Garner + Matic as the DM's and Periera at the apex. Periera at least shows his best stuff at 10 - limited as it is.

    United squad arrives
James, Grant, Jones, Greenwood, Gomes, Williams, Chong, Matic, Maguire, Kovar, Young, Lindelof, Dalot, Pereira, Romero, Wan-Bissaka, Rashford, Fred, Mata.

You end up with people talking to themselves :D

Nah. I’ve only found a dozen or so, probably supporters of other clubs pretending to be United fans. Weed them out and the discussion becomes a discussion.

    How great would that be?

You would never be wrong. About anything. Ever. And you'd be the smartest person on the forum along with owning the biggest willy.

Honestly, I see no downside here.

Decent team tbf. Take it Gomes is still injured/ill/frozen out?

Weird to put out such a weak lineup in the FA cup which Ole should be going for. Can't see us doing against Wolves unfortunately. Hopefully Greenwood can have a big game and save us.

I think we're between a rock and hard place considering injuries, fatigue and we've got a semi final against City on Tuesday.

So Gomes travelled but didn't make the squad?

edit: nevermind i see him now

I'm more interested in how the likes of Williams and greenwood perform rather than the actual result.

Can't complain with the lineup selections, with City round the corner it needed to be done. Not a bad team on paper either.

Teams plenty strong enough for an fa cup game. Not that it won't be tough a
