With a fully fit squad, what is our best xi according to you?

I'd like to see Bruno more in a free role where it doesn't matter too much if he loses the ball.
Onana

Dalot - De Ligt - Martinez - Shaw

Casemiro - Ugarte - Mainoo

Amad - Bruno - Garnacho

Or: with Højlund

Onana

Dalot - De Ligt - Martinez - Shaw

Ugarte - Mainoo

Amad - Bruno - Garnacho

Højlund
No matter what formation you do it always seems like we need a 12th man in there. We need a star/World class player, really. And it's either as a striker or a winger. Hopefully INEOS adresses that issue next.

I haven't seen enough of Bayindir to be sure that he's the answer, but I'm convinced that Onana isn't a Manchester United level goalkeeper. Assuming I take a chance on Bayindir

Bayindir
Dalot,
De Ligt
Licha
Shaw
Ugarte
Buno
Mount
Amad
Rasmus
Garnacho

We're asking too much of Mainoo right now, he should be a rotation / bench option.

Mainoo is still in my XI but I agree he would be well served by being rotated. As for Onana, it’s now time to evaluate whether Bayandir can offer us a batter option than Onana. But ETH’s stubbornness will eventually be his undoing.

Looking at the first names on the team sheet

Onana
Bruno
Mainoo
Dalot
Licha
Shaw
De ligt
Ugarte
Garnacho
Holjund
Mount

So it's

Onana
Dalot, de ligt, licha, Shaw
Ugarte
Bruno, mainoo
Garna, holjund, Mount

Bayinder, yorro, Maguire, Mazzouri, Casemiro, Erickssen, Amad, rashford, zirzkee

Evans,lindelof, malacia, Antony,

On paper this isn’t our best team but I do feel like it would produce better results if we used it and they could stay fit.
Watching us just seems like we lack in midfield and would rather solidify that for right now before trying to bring back in Bruno and the likes. Having Ugarte somewhat protect Cas’s back would probably get the best out of Cas at this point of his career.

Hopefully he shakes off his major screw ups from last week and comes good to get us through the season so that we can part ways come next summer.

Onana
Dalot-DeLigt-Martinez-Shaw
Ugarte
Casemiro-Mainoo
Amad—Rasmus—Garnacho

Same team except Mazaroui for Dalot

Onana

De Ligt ---- Martinez
Dalot --------------------------------------------- Shaw
----- Ugarte
Casemiro --------------------------
---------------------------
Mainoo
Bruno ----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------
Rashford
Hojlund -----

Shaw will never be fully fit so this is the line up that I would like to see more going forward (probably not the best line up but at least the line up that at least will give me some hope to look forward).

----------------------------Onana--------------------------
Mazraoui---------De Ligt-----Martinez---------Dalot
------------------Ugarte---------Mainoo----------------
Amad---------------Bruno---------------Garnacho
--------------------------Hojlund-------------------------

I think Yoro is going to be better than De Ligt. It will be him plus one when he settles in.

I'll plump for:

Onana
Dalot Yoro De Ligt (Shaw)
Amad Ugarte Mainoo Rashford
Bruno
Zirkzee

Mainoo - Ugarte - Bruno
Garnacho - Hojlund - Rashford

Despite Rashford's atrocious form, Amad hasn't had a full 90 minutes without a significant performance drop atm. So if he continues that, he can easily take over Rashford's place.

No Martinez?

Sick note. I'm not saying he can't get in the team but he's got to show he can both be available consistently and play consistently well. I'm not sure he'll be able to do that even though he's a very good player.

De Ligt won't be super consistent I don't think but hopefully moreso than Maguire, so if he stays fit I reckon the place will be his. I'm fed up of a constantly changing back line, it's actually one of the things we bought Maguire and AWB to try to address, but then bought new sick notes to go on top.

Looking at these line-ups just makes me think United are not capable of having a title challenge yet.

Good news is the team is looking full of potential, but it will take a few more years to develop.

Also interesting that 2/3 of the experienced trio (Casemiro, Bruno, Rashford) are missing from most line-ups.

Martinez plays when fit. He's our best CB by a MILE.

Well he was fecking terrible against Liverpool and he can't stay fit so...let's see. I like Martinez but defenders need to stay fit and achieve a consistent level, it's part of the job if you want to play at the top.

Onana (I'm open for Bayindir to come in as well. Dont rate Onana but we've spent the money on him )

Mazroui Yoro Martinez Shaw
Mainoo. Ugarte
Amad. Mount. Garnacho
Hojlund

Mazraoui and Dalot is probably the only position I'm 50-50 on. Need to see how Ugarte does really. I'm not as convinced that Casemiro is completely finished. Not thrilled with any of our striking options but hoping Hojlund improves this season.
