Winter Olympics 2010 Vancouver

cnut. Lisa Wiik doesn't fall, but does a weak run. Little height, and touched the ground on one of the hits :/ No-one to root for in the snowboarding, then.

EDIT: CRAP! Wiik missed qualification by 0.3 points.

A combined Sweden-Norway flag what's wrong with people:lol:

No, I don't think so, but it's a bit difficult to tell.

The track is tougher now as well so it will be hard for anyone to beat our two.

Awesome! The mass start is Ole's, 36 years old and still the fastest dude out there.

That's Ole's 10th Olympic medal btw. What a fecking guy!

He is massive.

Shame the sport is so small, he's a on in a billion sort of athlete.

He'll win medals in 2014 too.

It's a very "Ole Einar" sort of thing to do to miss two times (in what is supposed to be his better position), and still get the silver. The next guy who missed twice was a minute behind him.

Great performance from Shaun White.

Shame that no one really pushed him though. May have been different if Kevin Pearce and Danny Davis had not been injured.

Brilliance

Anyways, my buddies girlfriend does halfpipe later, as well as the hockey men back at it again, this Olympics is turning on now.

Who? She odds-on to reach the finals? With all the Norwegians cocking it up, I'm open for someone to root for. The alarm is set for the final (its midnight here now)

Damn the programming sucks for Europe. This Sunday night Canada - Usa play at 1:30 am, then Sweden - Finland play at 6 am Monday. Impossible to catch both games.

At least the men's figure skating Free skating and Canada-Switzerland is coming up.

Definitely watching Canada - Switzerland. Hoping Hiller can keep it interesting for a while at least. The Swiss did win this match-up last Olympics so there is a chance.

Is your buddy hung or is she frigid?

He's a handsome guy, she's fit, I dunno I guess it works out.

Sarah Conrad, top 10 is her goal, but she's had interesting boosts of confidence over time so medalling isn't 100% out of the picture, but for a bit of realism she probably is looking at a top 10 spot.

I really have 0 interest in these games because of all the tape delay nonsense, ffs we are in the same fecking time zone

Well what a suprise, Canada is getting help from the referees after being outplayed by Switzerland.

The first call was ridiculous and it contributed to the first goal and now after Switzerland have put them under pressure there's another joke of a call to relieve the pressure. Almost feels like an old Canada Cup game.

It's going to be nearly impossible for any other nation to win the tournament

I'm quite impressed with the Swiss.. They did quite well in the first and held their own but they need to put away the few quality scoring chances they get. Canada have an incredible team, it's just amazing to look at who they have in their bottom two lines.
