Bergeron played with Nash and Crosby in the 2nd except for the powerplay they played on.
I do believe you're right from the first period, but Boyle played with Weber which didn't happen in game 1 so Babcock is shaking it up.
Now you gotta go all out, Sharkline gets more minutes, get Crosby on in attacking faceoff positions, sort out the bottom 2 lines and give the Blackhawks 2 more fecking time on D... Doughty won't get many minutes now or against the USA, mind you Pronger has been worse than him.

The talent on display in this tournament is really ridiculous. Combines a lot of the best veterans like Forsberg, Lindstrom, Pronger, Brodeur, Jagr, Federov, Selanne, Alfredsson, etc, a lot of talent from players in their prime and a lot of talent from a group of new, legitimate, superstars (but I'm guessing that can be said about most major tournaments in any sport)
I was only young back in 87, but from what my brothers have said the Canada Cup of 87' in Montreal was the greatest Hockey Tournament they have ever seen.
My dad says 72' was the best he has seen or the 76' Canada Cup (but that's probably because Orr was one of his favourite players, and he played so well in the tournament that it was sort of a last hurrah for Orr too).
In Canada at least, to live up to 87', these Olympics would have to be just awesome hockey throughout and probably end in a Canadian gold...

Canada's team was awesome. Fuhr in net, Coffey, Bourque, Murphy and Hartsburg in defense, Gretzky, Lemiuex (times 2), Messier, Hawerchuk, Gartner, Gilmour, Anderson, Tocchet, Goulet etc. forwards
The Americans and the Soviets had some talent as well.
