Wimbledon 2015

My current bingo card is: Ridiculously OTT second serve. More than one drop shot per game. Crazy sliced winner. Fist pump. Pointless challenge. A shot no one else would consider in the circumstances.

I'll be gone by the end of this game.
And then he suprises you by playing "normal tennis" like the last two games. Evil fecker.

Been mentioned a few times in commentary. He's been poor these past few years but he's also played guys who have had the game of their lives

All the top players get that. Nadal just hasn't dealt with it well.

They're being kind to him. He's allowing them to do it by playing badly.

Rosol, Darcis, Kyrgios and now Brown. This after making 5 Wimbledon finals in a row. Honestly, can't be arsed with Nadal's season anymore. It's plunged to unimagnable depths.

This has been a superb match to watch.

When Brown wins a point he asks for the same ball, and when he loses a point he asks for the ball so that Rafa can't do the same.

Looks like Nadal’s done. I’d be surprised if he ever manages to win another GS.

It's going to take Nadal all of this year to figure out how to play in this current state.

He needs another coach. Djokovic hired Becker and Federer with Edberg.

He doesn't need to get rid of Toni. But someone with a different approach.

I feel like I need to go and watch the 08 final again, just to remind myself what a great player Nadal once was.

This just isn't the same guy.

I wonder how much of it is mental and how much is physical.

He's 29. He can win another French.

Perhaps, if he can find some form again, but I'd be surprised now to be honest. He's really looking past his best. Injuries seem to have caught up with him.

Nadal not giving in too easily, still in with a chance.

Great save from Rafa but it all still feels inevitable.

Nadal seems to come up against all sorts of ridiculous players on grass

I think it's probably more physical. He's generally always been one of the strongest players in the game mentally.

He needs to change things, a change of coach might help. I doubt it though, which is sad considering he was my favourite player. The matches between him and Federer were epic.
