TBF I don't think Federer cares about any tournament bar Grand Slams. His body language in Miami, IW and against Gulbis was appauling. He doesn't seem to care and having in mind his career it's pretty much normal - just like Sampras.

As for Murray he can't put himself together mentally, if he loses another final to Federer I don't know what will happen to him.

Which matches are you watching? All are good.

Hahah it's hard to chose which match to watch. Watching the Hewitt game on TV and keep alternating between Roddick and Murray online

Hewitt game is the most interesting to me actually right now. I don't really enjoy or like watching Murray. The overbiased commentary puts me off

I remember Vuc a year or so ago claiming that with the likes of Djokovic, Ivanovic and Jankovic growing up that Serbia would dominate tennis, or some such rubbish. Amusing to see them all turning into massive bottlers and dropping out of tournaments with a whimper.

Yeah I watch Hewitt - djoko on TV and Sod - Ferrer online.

I'm beginning to like more and more Soderling. He's the only bar Nadal and Federer who seem to be equally good on clay and grass. His 2nd serve is immense, his return game is improved a lot.

ATM when Djoko and Murray are in a slump and Davy and Delpo injured he's the one on the rise.

Hewitt looks very good as well.

Aaaah, Hewitt bottled it. What a time to make a DF.

Djoko to serve for the match.

Sorry but as a Nadal fan I just can't like Soderling at all. Not after what he had done in that 5 set match 3 years back. Just seems an unpleasant guy.

Sadly he's improving a lot. I can see him winning a couple of hard court slams once Fed retires. Del Po and he will probably dominate the US and Aussie slams. Those serves will be even more terrifying on the hard surfaces.

Ah well Hewitt's gone. Had great hopes from him from this game.

Djokovich will struggle though in his next game. He has serious physical issues.

Great point to win that final point though

aaah, feck Roddick lost the 3rd set from 4-1 in the TB. DF his way.

He has to go to five to beat him.

Totally. Roddick will take Fed to five sets.

Hope he can actually just win it against fed for once. For once they could at wimbeldon outside the final so that's a good thing. Lesser pressure possibly. He'll still in all probability bottle it though.

Sod that. Roddick won't even make it to play Fed as things stand. 2 sets to 1 down.

This half of the draw has really worked out very well for Fed now :(

Lu or Djoko probably in the semis will be a cakewalk

Very stupid from Roddick. He had the the lead 4-1 in the TB and won feck all afterwards.

DF, UF errors. He beat himself there.

Another 5 setter to come for Nadal against PH Mathieu?

PHM is good enough to beat Nadal, he has the weapons, but is a bit of a choker. And he's Nadal's pigeon leads him like 9-0 H2H. If PHM leads 2-0 I fully expect him to lose the match even then.

Well you never know it's been a tournament of shockers.

Soderling a break down in the 4th :D :D :D

Is it too much to ask for a straight sets Nadal win?

I don't think Nadal would beat him in straights. PHM is better than everyone Nadal played so far.

Soderling just lost the 4th set. Awful lot of mistakes, he plays 1 good and 1 bad set. But this is not surprising as he wasn't tested so far.

I don't care if it takes Nadal 25 hours to beat PHM today as long as Sod loses. The quarter would be considerably easier against his good pal Ferrer.

Well if Nadal did go out then id prefer Soderling to stay in as hed probably be a potentially harder test for Federer than Ferrer who well wont get past the quaters anyway.

But lets not go there, Nadal to win in straight sets tonight and Soderling to go out in 5, Ferrer to Traveller himself out in beating Soderling and give Nadal a bye to the Semis :D

Someone please tell me PHM is not a big server? I'm tired of Nadal facing these big servers

WTF is Roddick playing at, narrowly saved a BP against Lu.

And PHM has pretty competent serve, he'll be serving big.

It's 2 hours and 20 mins so far, not that long of a match.

Yeah it was tounge in cheek really Ferrer is one of the fitter guys on the tour so i wouldnt bank on him geting tired to easily anyways, but for Nadal its a much easier match than Soderling would be for obvious reasons.

PHM serve certainly isnt as big a petzchners (if thats how you spell it?) was in the last round thats for sure.

Real struggle by Nadal this first game. He's not learn his lessons from the last match. Needs to place his 2nd serve much much better. It's easily smashable

Haase and Petz had unbelievably big serves.

What on earth is Nadal playing right now. He's been shocking till now. He's been hitting way too many UE's this tourney

Nadals a notorious slow starter though, i still think he'll win this in 4 at most.

I sense another 5 setter.

Good body serve there. That's what he needs to do more on 2nd serves.

Petz really took his 2nd serve apart that day

He serves around 200. He has big shots from both wings. Petz doesn't have that big serve as Haase, but has a good placement. Same with PHM. He hit like 20 aces to get to Nadal.

Murray back to his pushing game in the 3rd. Yay.

The Petz placement made it as hard to return as Hasses'

At times it looked unbreakable.

Come on Nadal take a break point this time.

Against Petz he just took 1 out of his first 12 B.P's.

Ah saved.

Yet another break point. Nadal must be having some kind of record for break points wasted in this tournament
