Willian at Man Utd?

Would love to have him but isn't he a regular feature in that Chelsea lineup? I must admit I haven't seen a too many games of them this season purely because they are running away with it I just get frustrated on MOTD when their turn comes on.

I recall him being in and out. The only way we'd get him is if Conte brings in his loverboy Cuadrado :lol:
 
Willian will improve us in terms of squad quality, but for the fee that Chelsea would ask (£30m+) there are better options out there, especially given that he'll be 29 in the summer.

I'd rather have Willian and a good CDM to pair with Pogba for 80 million than just Griezmann for 90 million.

That's for darn sure. A defensive minded mid did wonders for Chelsea and Leicester City the past two seasons.
 
He'd be a Valencia-like/Milner signing.

Can't go wrong and probably will be a vital squad player for efforts and synergy on the pitch but it'll be a sideways move.

Not sure what I think about that. Rather we promote from within (Rashford/Pereira/Januzaj/Lingard etc) and add a much needed CM for priority.
 
Don't need him, Valencia provides the width on that flank with Mata or Mkhi as the inside forward. We need RB depth, not a basic right winger.
 
Watching him at the weekend and only getting stoppage time tonight I wonder if this is something we try and do in the summer

Given that Chelsea have a history of selling their Brazilian players for ridiculous fees, I wouldn't be surprised if Willian eventually moved on for £40m+.
 
Wouldn't be surprised if we get linked with him. He seems to not be preferred by Conte whereas Jose utilized him more. On the flip side, we already have the likes of Mata, Mkhi, and Lingard so it wouldn't seem to be a high priority position to fill.
 
He's a really good player and he has many qualities you lack in your team. No way we sell him to you though. Just don't see it happening.
 
Fantastic player, god knows why people are negative about him.

I agree. His attributes are:
  • Very good technical ability
  • Very fast
  • Great Passer/crosser
  • Very hard working
  • Tactically intelligent/team player
  • One of the best dead ball players in the world
He doesn't score too many goals but thats my only criticism of him, although he's a pretty good finisher.

He was also one of the few Chelsea players to keep performing when things went to shit last year, which says a lot about his attitude.

By running around a bit more than the others and scoring some free kicks. He really isn't that good.

Yeah, let's just sign Bale and Douglas Costa. Willian has the right mentality to go with his skill set and Mourinho doesn't need to babysit his ass. Willian can also be a mentor and friend to Andreas Perrera
