To slap in a bid for Willian at this late stage surely smacks of futility...
I like Willian, but I think I'd rather Mahrez. Probably not popular opinion.
Think we really need some proper trickery in the team, and Mahrez, in a team that has the power of Rom, Pogba, Zlatan, Rashford would be a real, serious handful for defenders to think about.

Agreed, its too bad we werent in for Mahrez. A RW would have made this window complete.
I would definitely prefer Mahrez over Willian.
I think the latter looks a good player (as you'd expect in a title winning side) but his stats are pretty unremarkable to me. I think we have enough of those players.

Willian. Won't happen though.
Mahrez is the better player but I suspect Willian is the better character.
Mahrez looks for sure to be going to Chelsea. Which might mean there's an opportunity for us to buy Willian.
