Will Mo Salah leave this summer?

I see one scenario. If Neymar leaves PSG after World Cup they could absolutely see Salah as the best replacement possible and would have the money. Liverpool would at least take a look at a crazy offer.

Personally think he will stay for one more season.

If he replicates this seasons form into next season, I can see the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona pulling out all the stops to sign him.

He won't. If Ashley Young has his number, other teams will work on that.

1 season wonder.

Without sounding like a complete idiot .

I don't get the fantasism around him. Nobody, I mean, nobody. That is a United fan. Was Fobbie Rowler pro. Nor Alan Shearer etc etc....

One United.

What? This post starts off well then ends in nonsense. I think I get what you mean but it's not true and a crap point. The very end is just cringe.

This whole "Ashley Young has his number, other teams will work on that" narrative is rubbish. No player in the world scores every game. Salah also faied to score against Swansea (the only other team in the prem); does that make them geniuses at defending Salah (like Young?).

Salah fails to score against Utd twice and that makes Young the greatest LB in the prem!!?? Might it not be Salah actually had a bad game?? I also recall Salah having the shirt pulled off his back by Young when left for dead in the last game, plus he skied a good chance in the last couple of minutes. Where was Young's pocket then?

Ronaldo and Messi have had plenty of games where they haven't scored this season (I'm not suggesting Salah is at their level). Does that mean the opposition have sussed them out and all other teams should copy them to stop them ever scoring again?!!

Lazy, biased narrative.

Yes, we will get him as replacement for Lewandowski when he goes to Real. :wenger:

It was more we set up well against them than Salah having an off day, the two are connected anyway.

Young was playing very aggressively against him, getting in front of him to intercept or at the very least getting right up in his back and not allowing him to settle on the ball. Couple that with our wingers sitting back and anything other than a perfect first touch gets swept up. He needs to face goal to be dangerous, either getting in behind defenders or turning and running at people, we didn't let him do either of those things. That can be replicated by other teams and its inevitable Salah will find it tougher next season, whether he is able to find a way around it will mark how good he really is.

I also dont think he will leave this summer but he will next year if Liverpool don't mount a serious title challenge.

Not a chance that Salah will leave the newly crowned European Champions.

So - we pay up big bucks for Neymar, PSG buy Salah, and it's actually a win-win-win? Then Liverpool can go buy Arnatovic for 100M or so.

Would be a win for Madrid. PSG would get basically the same level of player, no clue what Liverpool would do with the money. Probably won't happen anyway

Can you please quote the source?

It was some youtube video from an egyptian documentary or news channel or something. They interviewed his friends and people in his village. Sorry but I don't remember it. It was in arabic though.

I don’t know if he leaves this summer, unlikely imho but Liverpool are being linked to an awful lot of different wingers. Backup or someone leaving?

Make this happen

Kloop wants Dembele, I wouldn't be surprised if they ask Dembele plus 60m for Salah. And they could buy someone like Lemar, Werner, Fekir with that extra money.

Salah the plan if they don’t get Griezmann?

There's no chance of Salah moving this season. He's Scousers darling and if sold the owners would have to have some serious PR work up their sleeve.

Yes to Madrid or Barca with high bid and one of their key player leaving the club

Coutinho was the scouse darling until Salah appeared...

I wouldn’t be surprised if the next Madrid manager demanded Salah.

If Zidane can’t demand players, why do you think the next manager will?

It’s Perez who will choose.

What on earth are you going on about?

You'd have to assume Perez will be interested. Plus the Madrid players think very highly of Salah, I mean him and Ramos were walking arm in arm together during a CL final. Clearly, Salah to Real is very much on.
