Sassy Colin
Death or the gladioli!
Feel a bit better?
All makes sense now, we're not playing him to save £5M, which we wasted on overpaying for Fellani...
Feel a bit better?
United will pay £10m up front, with the fee potentially rising to £15m based on Zaha's appearances and success
One of Sir Alex's biggest strengths was his ability to keep a large squad happy. Moyes probably isnt going to manage the same thing
True. He also had the benefit of actually buying the players thereby demonstrating some faith in their ability. In contrast, Moyes manages to give the impression that he rates Rooney, Van Persie, Januzaj and Giggs while most of the rest are, at best, only playing until he can bring in superior replacements.
On Zaha, I suspect he will be loaned out at the very end of the month after the Cardiff match by which time Young and/or Nani may be fit. Moyes is probably just being extra cautious in case we are short of players for the LC match against Sunderland. It is clear the only way Zaha gets playing time for us is if every other option is unavailable.
And yet save for one possible substitution that never was, he has gone unused whilst those same players have been injured.
Neither are expected to be absent for months on end, so do they return in the first week of Feb and Zaha is back in the wilderness?
Not playing him at all, not even in the small games has just been unacceptable, continuing on that line is a good way to destroy his confidence and further infuriate him. The guy must be hating Moyes as a manager and is probably already regretting his transfer.
How can people blame Moyes? Which manager in their right mind would ship a player out on loan when injuries makes us light in that exact department. Zaha should pipe down and remember that he's barely into his 2nd half of a season as a Premier League-footballer, and shouldnt storm off because he's not being played.

Well, I guess that is why neither you nor Wilf is playing any games in the PL these days.If Ashley Young were getting starts over me, I would be upset and I'm awful at football.
If you're in your first season as a Premier League player (a Manchester United-player at that) as a 20-year old and you have to "have a think" after a single season, you might not be cut out for a big club anyway.
I'm not quite sure I get your point. Moyes has been able to handle plenty of youngsters during his time as a manager and I'm sure that he's more then capable of handling a youngster with an ego. I've been hoping to see Zaha alot more than we've had so far this season, but with all these reports of him throwing a tantrum, or being a whiney bitch, I would rather see proper pros like Valencia and Young regain abit of form.So the player should be happy that the manager continues with two players who offer nothing of value rather than giving him a chance? After seeing what Januzaj has done, there's no reason Zaha shouldn't be getting a chance yet he never even makes the bench. I could see blind faith in Fergie, who made a number of mistakes with youngsters, but Moyes? He hasn't shown anything to warrant that. Just because he's the manager doesn't mean he's beyond reproach.

Then you should probably be professional about it and work your ass off at the training ground. I have no idea how he's doing at training, but United is known to test their youngsters mentality by giving them a hard time to see how they respond. Some rise to the challenge, whilst others turn into little girls.or you might be so sure of your abilities you aren't willing to wait and clearly have the talent already, see Pogba, hence why I mentioned him as an example
Spot on. If even half of the rumors about him are true, he isn't mentally ready for a big club.If you're in your first season as a Premier League player (a Manchester United-player at that) as a 20-year old and you have to "have a think" after a single season, you might not be cut out for a big club anyway.

Will surely be given a start on Wednesday. If not, what's the point?
