Zaha looks a fine player alright. He'll certainly give Young a run for his money.

This Bolasie guy has the same gloves - short sleeves combination. Difficult to tell who is Zaha on this stream.

Right after the goal my commentator said, "we'll have to see on the replay if Murray got a touch or was it a goal from Williams"

Shocking that the guy whose job is to call the game didn't catch that. They should cut his salary.

His decision making has been spot on once again and that cross for Murray was brilliant. Well rounded fecker.

He beats a man easily at that level. Teams so frequently double team or triple team him.

He did this to the Leeds fans

It's funny now, but I don't suggest that he does it under Ferguson.

 Already love the guy. Already has the hate for Leeds.

He was very good today (up until the first half anyway because I stopped watching due to stream stop working then). He seems to know when to stop doing step-overs at the perfect time, just when the defender is trying to swipe to get the ball. Very surprised at how well he crosses the ball as well.

PL defenders are obviously better players, but teams won't be double/triple marking him when he's with us; it'll leave another dangerous player of ours in achres of space. I'd be quite comfortable seeing him face at least 75% of all PL wingbacks right now.

Even when I didn't really know who Zaha was - Other than the fact his surname sounded like Saha - I was hearing very positive things about him. I am excited about his arrival.

TBH I was sold on him pretty much just from the name. I watched him tear up Stuart Parnaby the other week, under the heavy influence of confirmation bias.

It's awesome that he's focused on Palace's promotion campaign. It tells something about his professionalism and overall spirit for playing football.

Can't wait to see how he'll link on the pitch with Rooney, Clev, Welbz, Young and others.

Brave and resilient.Happy to operate on both flanks and use his left on occasion, good awareness of players around him.Terrific pace, will have a shot and has a good cross.

When he gets physically stronger, even though he's already strong, he'll be better.

What's not to be excited about?

Lots to like about him and he'll have a lot more space to work with when he comes here considering the amount of times we manage to get our wingers 1v1 with the full backs.

Indeed.

They won't be able to double up on him quite so successfully as we have the likes of Rooney,RVP,Nani,Welbeck,Kagawa etc who will exploit the space

Plenty to look forward to with this kid. When plays for us he should have far more space due to defenders having lots of other players that they need to worry about more. Hopefully he can go past players as easily up in the premier league where the defenders are better as well. He has shown that he has a decent cross on him.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this kid play for us next season, I have a feeling that he's going to be a special signing. The lad already looks very mature on the pitch.

Nice to see him always trying to take his man on. If he can keep his composure he could be a really dynamic sub for us next season.

He's not coming to be a sub.He may initially be one but I think a few games in,give him an opportunity to have a good look at the standard of the PL, and he'll start for sure

I think that will be his role along with cup starts and games against easier opposition. He played a good game yesterday but I have also seen him trying daft tricks and losing the ball easily on previous occasions. Like any young player, it will take him time to adjust here.

Looks quite a talent. I hope he does rely less on wide play and develops a more well rounded game here though.

That Williams chap ha impressed me for palace as well.

I agree that along with his potential and everything we should expect him to be a starter, but that's a bit further down the road.
Unless he completely outplays our other wingers (which looking at this season doesn't seem so hard, then again IMO it's sort of an off year for our wingers, they're still high quality players) then I can't see him being any more than a sub with an occasional start in "lesser games" in his first season (maybe even 2).
Obviously I hope he'll have a big impact from the start, but I think he'll be integrated into our squad with time, he won't be just thrown into the lion's den.

The championship is one thing. I think after the move he had a little dip but he's come good again. If he can do what he's doing for Palace for us then absolutely but you need a bit of luck also. I hope he keeps attacking fullbacks rather then wanting to play safe.

He could do a Ronaldo but even Ronaldo was given a bit of a helping hand with Oles Injuries. He looks a real prospect though
