Should be a regular there so really happy for him. Glad it's only a loan as well, no way I want us selling him. Nothing has changed on his potential, give him time and see how he develops. Hopefully has a good season at Palace and we benefit from that.

Cardiff gave us 2 million reportedly loan fee for him. Palace are giving 1.5 million.

Wonder whether there is a permanent deal option.

Zaha's problem is his attitude.

Skysports caught up with him whilst he driving away from Carrington. Sky put the mic in his car for a comment and despite a propoer interview commencing, he couldn't care less the music blaring in the background.

Maybe it's just me, but if I had any sense of humility, I'd either decline or at the very least shut the fecking music off. Jeez. I dunno maybe I'm having a bad day.

The first thing he does after stopping is turn the music down

You must not have very good hearing it was blaring out. One of the more stranger United careers we've witnessed and a rather short lived one of that. All the best Wilf.

Done for speeding in London in his Lamborghini Gallardo the other day. Wonder if he turned the music down when the coppers stopped him?

I think his problem - and the reason he's not been kept in the first place - is that he's not a Van Gaal-type winger and he'll never become one.

God luck to him though.

Van Gaal has worked with all sorts of wingers tbh. What is his type ?

He better approach this as his last opportunity. If he can't perform in an environment he's comfortable in, with a manager that knows him, then that's that.

Good luck to him.

Such a strange signing, Moyes obviously didn't like him and it seems LvG didnt put much of a fight to keep him. But i think there is talent there, hopefully he shines at CPFC and comes back a better player.

Just curious but why do people here say hes got a attitude problem? I dont pretend to keep up to date about rumours regarding our players so any links to stories would be appreciated. Thanks.

My hearing is evidently better than your eyesight. Watch where his hand goes as soon as he realises someone wants to talk to him.

Now he might not have turned it down enough for your sensitive hearing but he did turn it down low enough for both parties in the conversation to hear each other clearly. Which is the main thing.

I think people are only saying that because this pre-season there was a training session that everyone but Zaha took part in. Can't think of any other moments that get people to think he has an attitude problem though.

Exactly what is wrong with the game, young lads who have achieved the sum total of feck all driving around in 6 figure super cars, no wonder so many lack the desire to make the most of their talents

 Should he drive round in a 2002 Clio till he's won the Ballon d'Or? He's obviously achieved more than 'the sum total of feck all' otherwise he wouldn't be able to afford it in the first place, why does what car he drives make any difference?

Hopefully he comes back after having a good spell. There's no way I'd put any money on that happening though.

Think you miss the point. At one time success meant money to footballers it doesn't anymore simply by signing a Prem contract , regardless of whether you play, makes you a millionaire every year.

The point about lacking desire is well made and it's a common enough refrain from ex pros and present day managers.

Almost all of the managers he's played under have made comments that would suggest that he's had some problems with his attitude. I Think Holloway even said it outright when he claimed that Zaha only has himself to blame for not being a success for us. I don't see why it was a strange transfer though, he was one of Englands biggest talents at the time with Arsenal (?) also reported as being after him. 10+5 million in addons based on appearances isn't much for an English talent either, Oxlade-Chamberlains transfer to Arsenal were almost identical in both fees and conditions and he's done quite well apart from/considering his injury-woes.

I for one was very excited by the signing having watched him in the play-offs and a few League games. Hope he takes this chance and comes back with promise this time.

Hardly a footballers fault then is it, it'd be the clubs for paying them that much in the first place.

Moot point about who's fault it is the fact is the "edge" kids like him should have just doesn't seem to be there. Recently Chris Waddle and Gary Lineker (and Harry Redknapp) said it's the reason english players of number and quality are vanishing. The kid clearly has real ability but he's been sent back to Palace. If he ain't getting used while things are in turmoil and creativity is notable by it's absence something is very wrong with him.

Exactly

Hard working, adaptable team players. Well that is the things he said he liked About ADM.

Not sure Even Arjen Robben fits that definition fully tbf and he's a Van Gaal favorite.

Simply put Zaha isn't ready right now plus needs to sort out whatever rumored attitude issues. Don't think he dislikes his playing style as such.
