You just know he's gonna start shite players like Antony and McTominay in the hope they gain confidence.

I expect ETH restores McT to the starting XI alongside Eriksen and Bruno. Amad could get the start over Garnacho as well, I cannot see him dropping Rashford so quickly. Hojlund should come straight in.

    Onano
    AWB Varane Evans Dalot
    McT Eriksen
    Amad Bruno Rashford
    Hojlund
Huh? He only came back into the Team at Boxing Day after being dropped for the large part of December.

    Hope Diallo starts

Anthony Taylor. Jesus Christ Im sick of seeing this human teletubbie on our matches. One of the most blatantly biased referees you will ever see

Just realised it’s a 8:15 kick off. Any reason why? Thought it would have been an 8 kick off.
I've complained before about 8.15 kick-offs being too late and I got called an old man

As far as I know, 8.15pm kick-offs were introduced in the Premier League a few seasons ago as part of the new TV rights, and presumably something similar is the case with the FA Cup. I guess the reason is that a broadcaster can show one match that kicks off at 7.30, and then when that gets to half-time, viewers would be able to switch over and immediately start watching another match. So ultimately it comes down to more money for the broadcaster, as is often the case.

Sorry if this was asked before but is it likely they ll observe a moment of silence before the game for Beckenbauer?

Can't recall if it was done for Pele or Cruyff at games outside their home countries.

We do? Quick, somebody tell Erik!

Seriously though, the apparent lack of trust in Bayindir is laughable and a real concern.

For him to be brought here last summer for actual money and not play a minute of football is freakish. He must have been scouted to at least some degree, or did ETH and Murtough just throw a dart at a wall full of the names of obscure European keepers?

It's the most we've ever paid for a reserve keeper, more than Kuszczack or Lindegaard. But they both played, Lindegaard averaged about 5 games per season and Kuszczack close to 10.

Onana has had absolute shockers and deserved to be dropped. Especially in Europe.

Hopefully a convincing victory. would be nice to score a few

Why does it feel like about a month since we last played ??
Us supporters could do with a month between each match. It's mentally draining watching this group of United players in action and tonight could be more of the same especially if Wigan take an early lead.

Exactly. Surely he can’t be THAT bad, he was Fenerbaches no.1!

Good opportunity for Højlund to boost his confidence. Even if it's League 1 opposition we have a number of players that could do with a goal. Hope we batter them.

Both team with a player called Martial - Wigan has a Martial Godo :)

And they have 2 strikers called Sze and Stones .. hm....lots of physique there

Amad injured again? Where is he?

    Ugh Eriksen injured again?

    No Amad either.
