Dunno why it took so long to try Garnacho on the right and Rashford staying on the left. If anything, Garnacho has offered more attacking threat on the right than he did on the left earlier in the season, and he’s certainly been better than Antony - it’s not even remotely close.

You can slag the header miss and the one that came off his shin/thigh. Those weren't great.

The left footed shot that was saved by the keeper was fine/good.

The cross from Garnacho that Hojlund touched back to McTominay was really good/intelligent.

Yet in here I've seen him be slagged for every one of those. I don't get it.

Didn’t Nunez have a pretty similar first season? He got 13 goals last year. He has 8 so far this year.

Hojlund has 6 so far and is 4 years younger.

They both cost a base fee of £64m but Nunez has a lot more add ons so could end up at £85m vs £72m for Hojlund.

I think Hojlund looks a much better deal overall.

Hojlund should have had a brace at least. McTominay also could have had a couple. One of the many times Rashford cut in and shot should've beaten the keeper.

I don't think I believe in any of our forwards to score, except Garnacho. I've made a lot of excuses for the front line this season but tonight hasn't been about service. They've just s-t the bed inside the box.

If we get sucker punched into a replay, or worse, we can only blame the woeful finishing.

I still think he will turn into a good goal scorer. It’s become a mental block sort of issue at the moment. He will turn a corner eventually. I like the kid, and I hope it happens in time for him here.

I've watched him out of possession literally just hiding between 3 Wigan players. Passing is awful. I hate that he scored those goals because he should be nowhere near the team. I think he would fit nicely into somewhere like Wigan actually.
