Just seen a tweet where ETH said they’re not ready and won’t be ready for Spurs either .
How can they not be ready for spurs? They’ve been in training last week. That would be like 2 weeks training. I’ve seen players come back with halve a week training and gone back into the match day squad.

Erik Ten Hag on Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro: "They are two high-class players who will take the team forward. We are looking forward to their return, but we have to wait. They still need a little time to make their return in a match."

    That’s the quote

Play properly and we win... but it wouldn't surprise me if we did nothing of the sort

Giving the additional times between games due to the European exit we need to be seeing coaching impact and improving patterns of play.

In terms of team selection I hope Diallo starts, need to see what he has if he is not being loaned out and the back up keeper needs some mins. Also would be helpful if Rashford continues his slight improvement and if Hojlund (if fit) can build on the winner.

Almost forgot about this game. Expecting Eth to go full strength, a comfortable win and another false dawn

I’m gonna be more excited about our FA cup games as it’s the only thing we have a chance of winning this season. Slim chance I know…

Fans shouldn’t fall for this if we beat them comfortably. We should be doing. They’ll be a few fans that think ‘we’re back’ though if we win quite easily.

I hope EtH realises he might be on borrowed time, but winning the FA Cup would add a bit of credit in the bank.

FA Cup and Top 4 would keep him in a job for sure.

Rest Garnacho for this one. We need a confident Rashford/Hojlund and Amad needs minutes, so that front 3.

So it should, he’s worked a near miracle if we end the season with that

Yeah, top 4 from here probably needs 40 points in 18 matches, so a 12-4-4 record for the rest of the season. That would be a surprising improvement.

    Onana
    Bissaka - Varane/Willy - Martinez - Dalot
    Mainoo Casemiro
    Amad Bruno Rashford
    Hojlund

First off all, I doubt we need to rest players and shouldn't need to rest players because we had more than a week rest already. Martinez and Casemiro need to play to regain their full fitness even though I prefer to give Gore a chance. I prefer Amad instead of Garnacho because he takes care the ball more.

It would be mad to not start Bayindir here, So I do expect him to play.

Be good to see Kambawala back in the side.

Start Rashford on the left so he can hopefully have a good game/bag a goal, Amad on the right.

We might even be OK with McT in midfield tonight...

You can be sure of one thing.
United will do their utmost to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory.

No need to rest anyone. Go full strength and even we can't screw this up then. Easy 4:0 win.

Martinez and Casemiro won’t be available until Feb.

No chance he starts , Onana has been left stay behind for an extra week to play for us . There is a zero chance he doesn’t start tonight .

    Then that is daft.

If we win tonight - unless Cameroon absolutely shit the bed at AFCON and somehow come 4th in their group (or be a worse 3rd finisher - which is also unlikely) - then Bayindir will HAVE to play in the 4th round... and that 4th round is likely to be a harder game then League 1 Wigan.

I'm more worried that Bayindir might have to make his debut Vs Spurs as still not clear when Onana goes to AFCON

Rumours are he will be allowed to play for us against Spurs, then fly back out to play for Cameroon, the guy is going to be knackered and jet lagged.

    Provided we beat Wigan….
