Unfortunately it doesn't work. If FC United get off the ground and start employing people it is only a matter of time until some local kid from Manchester starts following FC in whatever league they are in and follows Chelsea in the Prem.
FC United is a new team and has no conection with Manchester United, I hope they do well and maybe I may go to watch them sometime.

There's nothing to show that the two will merge. The only event that something like this would ever happen, would be if supporters tookover Manchester United and any chances of that happening has been scuppered by people who sold their shares and invested in the Phoenix fund.

Ive seen your answers and am now having problems whether you are on some sort of wind up or just practicing at being thick
Anyhow I have just had a play with the User Control Panel and have found out if I put your name in your every post disappears

I think I've explained myself fairly logically in most of my posts. Most of you who randomly call people gloryhunters have nothing to substantiate what you have to say. Even at 19, I'm better educated and have more common sense than most of you so-called old timers.

Full of yourself aren't you Mr. Logical. Like to debate. eh? How can you be educated at 19? You're a kid. All my sons are older than you. Thankfully none of them act like they know it all. Now be quiet and go to bed.

Your condescending attitude is amusing. And for your information, at 19, I'm just over a year away from getting my undergraduate degree.

Ah, your 18 month away degree makes you educated. Logical. but somewhat naive.
At my age and experience I can be condescending when I come across upstarts like you and will continue to be so. One of the perks of having been around for a while. Had a little education too.

That does make me educated, to a great degree, yes. More than most people, anyway. I find the idea of you calling me naïve somewhat amusing...not to mention ironic.

No one has the right to be condescending towards someone just because of their age and experience. The fact that you think like that is naïvity in itself.

Ern - every fecker has a degree now, they come free in boxes of cereal these days...

Age and experience are just 2 of my many features. I call on them all when I choose to be condescending. And I have the right to do whatever I want and say whatever I want. Those who know me (not talking on here...this is the cyberland of debate) listen to what I have to say. I know that sounds self righteous but ca't help it.

Fair enough. I'm sure you're wise in your own right. But your generalisations show your naivity. And your tendency to randomly blabber insults when you have nothing of substance to say indicates your immaturity, especially considering your age.

Agreed. But it's the quality of the degree that counts and I can't really quantify that on an internet forum. Besides, I've plenty of education about life, the universe and everything - it would take me forever to explain to you what exactly I meant.

I think you mean .... "And your tendency.... indicates"
and "even at that age".
Sorry to be picky.

Hope your other 28,397 posts were better than this!

Sorry, I would have hoped your loyalty was better than this.

If you want to support this farce, why the hell are you still here?

It's a joke! A new club set up by a few so called United fans that spit their dummies out of their prams when they can't get their way (probably the same twats that wanted SAF sacked), that has nothing to do with Manchester United Football Club, its history, its traditions, nothing.

I've no time for any of you.

The nice thing Weasty, is that you dont have to be part of it or give anyone any of your time or money and most FC United fans will respect your choice.

You should respect their choice in return.

Also, why didn't these high and mighty wankers go and do this when Edwards was in charge?

I will respect their choice when they all stop supporting United.

It's blasphamy IMO, the utmost form of betrayal!

Well i think it's fair to say that this is a situation that has evolved and edwards was part of the evolution process, wheras Glazer was the final straw...

The club has never been owned by the fans. It was someone similar to Glazer or Edwards that got us out of the shit and renamed us "Manchester United" in the first place.

Naw, that would be supporting liverpool...;)

That is much too rational Ern. Most of the big 'FC United' fans like to control both sides of the argument. You can see they live in a dreamworld in a candy house on lollipop lane (la la la). ;)

I know what you mean but times have changed for the worse over time and i think a lot of football fans, not just united fans are unhappy with the way football has been going.
Clubsincrisis.com is a site that says it all really...

Look, plenty of clubs' supporters have driven Chairmen out in the past, why don't these people stay and try and do the same, instead of running off on the crazy exercise of trying to form a new club, when if they had a few brain cells to rub together, must realise that in this day and age it is something on the road to nowhere. It might have worked 50 years ago, but it ain't going to happen now.

Also, there are loads of other little teams all over Greater Manchester, why not pick one of them that already has a start and a history?

Madness.

I think it's a symbolic thing to start from scratch...

I figure you all could do with more of the good: Timmy Howard, J. Spector, Hollywood, trucks, and Mexican fast-food open 24 hours a day.
Please call it 'The Devil's Own Taco Hole', it'll make a mint. Trouble is people will then know where to find you :nervous:

Manchester United didn't start from scratch. It renamed itself and moved.

If these people really want to start from scratch, and keep hold of some form of roots, then why no call themselves Newton Heath and play in Newton Heath?

Maybe i didnt really know what was going on but i never really had a problem with Edwards - i think it was the fans that drove him out but i dont know why, selling the club came after it became clear the fans didnt want him but why not? i must be missing something. I was never one of those that shouted edwards out at games and i feel it was the fans that did that have really fecked us over because they made edwards sell out.

Somebody educate me on what he did wrong BEFORE he wanted to sell the club...
