I hate myself for writing this so I should probably give my head a wobble but it feels like it's becoming inevitable. For numerous reasons, things are just going against him and it's a real shame, I want him to stay and think we should push through it. Treat this period like a military 'Hell Week' selection course. The players who come through on the other side are the ones we keep; the players who baulked at the challenge or whose character and mental qualities were insufficient, we discard, no exceptions, gaps in the team will be filled by reserves etc.I think it just affects any compensation due following termination of contract, rather than being an automatic termination...
The darkest period is just before dawn. But, I doubt we'll get a revolution just another repeat. You'd think it would be sinking in by now that something fundamental has to change.
