Film Which well known Movie have you never seen?

Anything with the death of a beloved animal character (unless I didn't know about the aforementioned death beforehand), can't really stomach it, always gets the waterworks going.
Totally agree, I can't even mention Shadow in the pit from Homeward Bound before me and the missus start crying.

Because I don't like a film?! Jesus Christ, I finally get it now, you all lack self awareness.

I'm so sorry I didn't enjoy nor get the incredible hype over a film you clearly rewatch every week.
It's actually not about the movie, you just talk a lot of bollocks on this forum fairly regularly, like your explanations in this instance.

I mean, pot kettle black mate.

You've likely never even read any of my "bollocks".

But feel free to elaborate on the deeper meaning to Man on Fire.

The Wire you have to get into about episode three and then suddenly you're hooked.
Same. Episode 1 didn‘t hook me, got it recommended by a friend and luckily had nothing really to do alternatively so kept watching 1-2 episodes more and boom.

Agreed. Though the opening scene in episode one is iconic. That snot boogie bit.
It is very slow and the first time I watched it, I was like "what's all the fuss, this is dull, but by ep3 I was just engrossed and binged it all. S2 is odd but apparently recent rewatching it's not bad, S3 and S4 are mega, mega television. Just unrelenting and wonderful TV shows.

Season 2 really got on my tits the first watch through but on subsequent watch through's I appreciate it a lot more. It's a great season.

Okay so you definitely didn't watch far enough, if you think the swim race is relevant. Also that's Dakota Fanning, possibly the only competent child actor in the history of Hollywood.

Swimming? Yes. That's the point of that film

Not deep or meaningful but a great action movie.

Quite a lot of Ghibli's, but I don't have much interest of seeing them. Then stuff like Godfather 3, Spartacus and Lolita but it's sort of the same thing there.

Something like The Duelists I would like to see, there's a couple of Spielberg's 80's films I'd like to see (Color Purple and Empire of the Sun).

Jaws. As a surfer, I didnt need the imagery. I’d love to see a super cut with no shark in it.
The great thing about Jaws are the scenes without the Shark. It’s the theme, the suspense, and the fear and some of the best lines in movie history.

I would definitely recommend Spielberg's The Duel. That's a fun ride of a movie.

Titanic
The Matrix
Lord of the rings

Completely agree.

I can't even watch all the animal documentaries as it never seems more than about a minute into watching it before they show something hunting / eating something else.

And, yeah, any TV show or film that I know features the death / ill treatment of animals as a major storyline then I just can't watch at all.

Unfortunately , outside of the first, the Rambo films film tend to evolve into violent live action cartoons. Entertaining ? sure. Ridiculous ? very much so.

I'm expecting nothing less
Which is kind of a shame because the first one said a good amount about the mental after effects of war and how service men, woman were largely treated when they returned home.
