Torres was beautiful to watch because he was such an elegant player, but Suarez is everything. Henry-esque.

I think Liverpool could get something like £35-40m for him if they sell him to Barca.
I really can't see a club throwing more than 50m for him. I suppose it's possible but I foresee his penchant to bite/stomp/pull hair as a caveat to any purchase that would presumably affect what a club is willing to pay. That all goes out the window if Real make him a top priority like they did with Bale.

I think quite a lot of people have forgotten about the biting incident, until he does something stupid again. But you can't question his ability, he would be worth a lot more than 50m in this market when people like Falcao/Cavani go for 50m.

Torres was a very singular threat whose directness was too much for almost every defender to handle circa 2007-2009. Suarez isn't blessed with the same physical gifts but is a more rounded, technical and inventive player.

It's very, very annoying that these bunch of cnuts have such a great player. Ideally we sneak fourth ahead of them and Real Madrid come in asap before he does any long term damage to us.
If you're going on form this season, maybe Suarez would feature in a top 5 list. But form for strikers is fickle. I don't think that Suarez is any better than any of the other top strikers/fowards in Europe - RVP, Rooney, Falcoa etc. Then there are a number of non-strikers who you have missed out.

He's also not been that much of cnut this season. Maybe he changed a bit like Drogba did. He used to be absolutely intolerable, so much that infrequent football viewers with little knowledge off the game knew he was a cnut and a cheat. By the end he left the PL very respected and even liked on these boards.
I don't think Suarez will ever be liked in that way but he might make people forget about his antics if he keeps this performance up and stops being a cnut altogether. It's only been 6 months but the previous past two seasons you could make a 5 minute video of him being a cnut without putting in any replays.

You said Fellaini, that's why i didn't understand. Either way, Suarez is a superior to both of those players imo.
