The sheer brass neck on the criminal Mone. This country is corrupt.

Labour is full of Tory plants right now. They’ve destroyed all credit they had as blue Tories so have to carry out their policies as Red Tories for the election and foreseeable.

She lied. She actually actively fecking lied. She didn't fail to declare because she didn't know, she was actually asked and she lied. Liar, liar, lingerie on fire.

But but but, because she's been caught out she's the real victim here!

OK, she may have pulled some strings to exploit a global pandemic to get her husband's company a £200m contract, making £60m in profits, for products, much of which were not fit for purpose, then repeatedly lied about their involvement, then her involvement and then her profiting from her involvement... but anyone asking for her to be accountable for any of that is bang out of order, its destroying the poor woman's life for gods sake!

Use crooked connections to profiteer from the pandemic and steal our tax money, consistently lie about it and then when indisputable evidence is revealed, claim you are the victim in all this. Seems genuinely shocked people think that's not OK!

The disconnect from reality these cnuts suffer from is shocking.

Be kind to the Government. It isn't as though they have been in power for long, nor have they increased the national debt by £1.4 trillion whilst running the country into the ground.

And even if they have, refugees made them do it.

There’s something that I find really stomach churning about a second generation immigrant who enjoyed such privilege and hospitality in the liberal democracy of Britain he grew up in turning to fascism and pulling the ladder up behind him.

I’ve heard sickening discourse from first gen immigrants in their 50s and 60s who vote Tories and brexit. It’s beyond disgusting - the media machine is remarkable - I’ve seen them parrot claims about how they were the good kind of immigrants not realizing or acknowledging they would not have made the cut were the same standards applied back when they came

Yes. And like the rest of the Tory rabble, he is totally obsessed with sending immigrants to that wonderful country called Rwanda.
The country is broken and in reality, Rwanda is little more than a sideshow.
But he is using it to deflect attention away from all of their failings.

This is standard Tory 101 now. Who needs results and ideas when you can trot out the sounds bites about boats in the channel and the war on motorists.

None of the replies since that tweet have even touched on the fact that the rhetoric is bullshit anyway in that 'the people who actually need our help the most' are also the people this government couldn't give two shits about outside of being useful tools for that argument. They help nobody but themselves.

From personal experience migrants (and offspring) are just as likely to fear "others" and added to that they are more likely to feel their "own place" in society is threatened, given life experiences with locals. I have a half german half british-pakistani cousin who grew up in Milton Keynes and now lives her life in Turkey. She used to think UKIP has a point (and she's highly educated too!=)... End of the day were all just humans and everyone is susceptible to believe the easy sounding solutions.

(I'm not kidding on the half german half british-pakistani part. My family is so complicated I stopped mentioning it because people tend to think I make it up.)

But he again stressed that Labour would not be able to immediately meet the demand for a 35% rise made by the British Medical Association.

“I think we’ve got to see the road back to fair pay as a journey, not an event. The public finances are a complete mess. There are, as a result, much harder choices to be made. And so we’ve got to sit down and try and agree a negotiation and compromise.”

Another year of strikes ahead then.

For context on how poor the wages for doctors are in the UK, my salary as a registrar in the NHS is less than I was making in a third world country, and the wages for house officers are also worse. All this while living in a country with an exponentially higher cost of living.

It's not been revealed and will only be done so when the investigation concludes.
Surely it will leak before then. Maybe it's another Scott Benton type thing.

Michelle Mone has condemned Rishi Sunak after he expressed concern at her admission she lied about involvement in a company that won lucrative deals during Covid, saying the government “knew about my involvement from the very beginning”.

After the former Conservative peer admitted in a BBC interview on Sunday that she had been untruthful in denying a connection to PPE Medpro, which made millions of pounds in profits over a contract to provide personal protective equipment, Sunak said No 10 was taking the case “incredibly seriously”.

In a furious response to the prime minister’s comments, Mone tweeted: “What is Rishi Sunak talking about? I was honest with the Cabinet Office, the government and the NHS in my dealings with them. They all knew about my involvement from the very beginning.”

They're parasites, they come into power, stop spending money on the electorate start spending money on themselves, destroy public services, profit, leave.

It's what the Tories always do. Every time.

Her defence that the government knew of her involvement and she only denied it to the press so the story didn't get out is laughably bad. As if that makes it better.
Hope she goes to jail.
