Medals being considered shows the type of people who become politicians. It's like giving a paper certificate to a 7 year old at school for working hard the previous week which is put proudly on the fridge for a month before being thrown out.

My mind is blown. I was surprised this guy won after that spectacular video of his mate pretending not to know him for the cameras. To find he is now the Conservative Party vice chair is mental. Expected result for a seat which has been Labour held for 30 years. Very low turnout though.
If the Tories had anything about them, they would have made some inroads into the 2019 majority. The fact Labour's majority grew and this is the worst defeat ever should be a rocket up Sunak.
Absolutely infuriating these videos. The guy at the start is just a racist - if you managed to stick with it until the end, his rant about Turkey being compared to "our floods" is just one of the most outrageous things I've ever heard.
