Liz Truss and Lord Frost seem very popular for being totally incompetent

Who were the people who were asked about whether they were or were not satisfied. And how many of them?

Anne-Marie Trevelyan has been appointed international trade secretary, No 10 has announced.

Who?

So in 2 years as International Trade Secretary apart from photocopying EU trade deals and making most of them worse, Liz Truss never actually signed off a single independent trade deal. The Australian one is a disaster for the UK and still not signed off and she's the hero of the Tory Party and gets a promotion.
Can her successor find a country to do a deal with?,

Like all reshuffles. Nothing more than posturing and moving the deck chairs.
They are an opportunity for the leader to try to demonstrate that they are in charge and settle a few scores.
Means nothing to the average person because those who have been promoted are equally incompetent.

Think he's always been Deputy PM - part of the reason why it was mental that both him and Boris were on holiday at exactly the same time. Also Justice Sec definitely a demotion from Foreign Sec.

Edit: I'm totally wrong, no idea where I got that idea from.

Raab and Patel have to be the worst, when you combine sheer incompetence, awful ideology and power. Hopefully Patel also gets the boot (unlikely).

I thought the same as you! Wasn't he the one that stepped in while Boris had covid? Did they have someone else that was deputy PM that they decided they didn't actually want to deputise when the time came around? :wenger:

 ffs

Our new culture Secretary

I don't see what's wrong with that tweet? Apart from the outright hate spewing bigotry, whataboutism and lack of class or intelligence, that is.

Let's face it , dude. Unless one of them has said someone worse than "watermelon smiles", which apparently is a standard we've now set for what a PM can get away with saying, these feckers will never be in trouble for what they do it say.

May 2023 election?

To be honest I woudn't be surprised by that as it would probably let them get to the next election with minimal tax rises and they are changing the fixed term parliament act to allow them to call early elections so seems pretty logical

Think the SNP were pushing for indy ref2 by the end of 2023 so would set up the narrative of a hung parliament will break up the UK nicely for their campaigning

Wouldn't surprise me.

Ironic because the Tories have done for the breakup of the UK than any party in recent history with Brexit.
