Maybot's still using it as her go-to rebuttal in PMQ's, week in week out.feck me, even Gideon has stopped using this bollocks.
I rest my case.
Typical response lol. Say what you want about Labour but at least they're not heartless cnuts who abandon the disabled people in this country and believe me I've seen that first hand. Also, how's the NHS doing under the tories? Not looking too good. There's about two qualified doctors at my local GP the rest are un-trained junior doctors on the bare minimum wage. Hospitals across the country under staffed. Police force and public service in general has been cut massively. The country is a fecking mess and in a bigger mess than it ever was under Blair/Brown.And bankrupt the country again
I am not a big fan of JC. Having said that, I cant see how he can possibly be worse than Maybot, Boris, Davies, Fox, Patel the genius and co. As an outsider myself its pretty much evident to me that the Tory government is in a civil war and because of it the country is currently without any form of effective government. For the good sake of the country and even the Tory party itself the earlier this government is put out of its misery the better.
The Tory Government is GOP-Lite these days. Their only interest is serving the elites. Absolutely toxic.
Something something corporate cash hidden in tax havens something something. There are now more homeless people than the population of Newcastle. The country is morally bankrupt.
Gove and Johnson have sent a pretend-secret letter to May about their Brexit concerns. So much for keeping from pissing into the tent.
Yes, they've set the house on fire and suddenly find themselves drenched in gasoline.First Patel, then Boris and now Gove. Its seems to me that any Brexiteer whose in the inner core of power and whose young enough to want to survive the Brexit fallout are working extremely hard to abandon the ship before it sinks.

The likes of Davies (68) and May (61) don't mind their career going into tatters in 2-3 years time. Yet Boris, Gove, Patel, Rees-Mogg, Hannan and co must make sure that they can survive this mess and fight for another day. The latter two are lucky not to be in the inner core of power and therefore cannot be blamed for the mess Brexit caused. The others have to work their way out of it before its too late.
Career politicians and rich businessmen going into politics is what is ruining the western world.
I agree with this.I strongly believe Boris is trying to get sacked so he can sit on the sidelines during Brexit and then pitch himself as the Tory saviour when the mess is at the feet of the cabinet.
Hannan is up to his eyeballs in Brexit, no way he dodges responsibility.
We’re broke mate.Typical response lol. Corbyn and Labour should wipe the floor with the conservatives whenever the next election is called. But knowing this country the conservatives will some how pull good numbers despite being an absolute laughing stock.
We’re broke mate.
Of course it’d be so so nice to have lots of nice social plans and all that - but, we’re broke.
Fair point - can’t say I disagree philosophically. The national economy is not like a household budget ffs. If the economy is bad, thats EXACTLY the time you need to pump in huge amounts of investment to kickstart business and spending and protect the people suffering unemployment or other economic problems. You try and cut back on spending when the country is doing the best, so you can build a reserve ready for the next time things go to shit.
The Tories don't understand the first part, and Labour don't get the second. Right now though, Labour are exactly what are needed to rescue the economy from this insanity of 'austerity'.
However what it means from a financial perspective, I am not sure (ie what the potential adverse reactions to that would be etc), I hope the Govt of the day knows and therefore acts accordingly, but I have lost faith tbh!
Beyond a messI can't say I have any faith left. There was a time when at least we could rely on the civil service injecting some reality, but it just seems like the government ignore them any time they dare to disagree.
That's a horror show.Boris - PM
Gove - Chancellor
Patel - Foreign Secretary
Inevitable if May steps down IMO, mark this tweet!
I could dig up the figures (but am too lazy) to show that we were brassick when the NHS was created along with a whole lot more good stuff. Austerity is a fraud; a political stunt (pun intended). We’re broke mate.

At least we'll see a change in the BBC, as they seem to support the party in power while holding the opposition to account. ;/It's worth saying it's going to be incredibly hard for Labour to introduce their policies, there will pushback by possibly business's but more likely the civil service. Winning power is the easy part for Labour.
Yeah that's a fair point too.I could dig up the figures (but am too lazy) to show that we were brassick when the NHS was created along with a whole lot more good stuff. Austerity is a fraud; a political stunt (pun intended).
Had multiple meetings with Israeli officials, including Netanyahu, without disclosing them. Then lied about them. Can someone summarize at novice level what Patel did?

It was likely an attempt by the government to bypass the foreign office (and Boris Johnson) in making deals with Israel. Possibly agreeing to some kind of FTA since the UK can't do that alone while still in the EU. It's hard to believe she was acting alone and without approval from the PM's office. The resignation was because Theresa May is effectively powerless against her cabinet, under normal circumstances Patel would have been fired.Thanks. Were sensitive topics discussed during these meetings, or is the resignation over the mere lying?

We are? Boy I wish I was so broke I could afford to spend the best part of £400m doing up a house. We’re broke mate.
