Yep all 40 million of them.
It's not a competition, but we have more pedestrians.

There's no need for this rivalry at all, let's get together and kick feck out of the cyclists. It's not a competition, but we have more pedestrians.
I'm pedestrian until I open my car door. It's not a competition, but we have more pedestrians.
They have always marked the major religious celebrations, under both Tory and Labour governments. Hinduism is the third largest religious group in the UK, and we are an officially religious state, unlike the US or France. Why is no10 doing diwali celebrations?

They send out best wishes and social media messages. But I doubt they'll complain if you ask them for a knees up too.I'll start lobbying for them to celebrate greek easter then too.
Why is this even a story?

Can't win, he gets slagged for taking freebies and slagged for not taking them, probably doesn't even play golf!fecking scumbag hates British history.
In David Lammy's defence; while he certainly is a nasty, mendacious cnut, he is also a very, very, extremely thick cnut too. It might be unfair to automatically assume cognisance from this very obviously deficient dolt.
Well, if those two titans think so, then Labour MUST be evil...Posted this in the Hypernormalstation thread a few weeks back
Lammy is a soulless individual who will believe in anything to further his own career.
I went to a talk yesterday host by Yanis Varoufakis and Slavoj Zizek. Good commie stuff but also Varoufakis deeply(and correctly)hates the current labour government.
I mean just to name a few things -Well, if those two titans think so, then Labour MUST be evil...
He is the international director of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities at the University of London, Global Distinguished Professor of German at New York University, professor of philosophy and psychoanalysis at the European Graduate School and senior researcher at the Institute for Sociology and Philosophy at the University of Ljubljana.
.Between 1982 and 1988, Varoufakis taught economics and econometrics at the University of Essex and the University of East Anglia, and also taught at the University of Cambridge.
From 1989 to 2000, he taught as senior lecturer in economics at the Department of Economics of the University of Sydney, with short stints at the University of Glasgow and the University of Louvain (UCLouvain).
In 2000 Varoufakis to return to Greece where he was appointed as an associate professor of economic theory at the University of Athens.[9] In 2002, Varoufakis established The University of Athens Doctoral Program in Economics (UADPhilEcon), which he directed until 2008. In 2005 he was promoted to full professor of economic theory.[15]
From January 2004 to December 2006, Varoufakis served as economic advisor to George Papandreou, of whose government he was to become an ardent critic a few years later.[16]

Oh look, your ignorance is showing again.Well, if those two titans think so, then Labour MUST be evil...
I know who they are. I just think they are massively overrated - Varoufakis as politician and as for Zizek, well I have an aversion to the school of philosophy he represents. But they are very good at telling lefties what they want to hear, I will grant you that.Oh look, your ignorance is showing again.
They're thought leaders, no? Their job is to advance left wing thinking by doing research, writing books and doing media appearances. "Telling lefties what to do" is a statement so lacking in understanding of their roles that one might think you were being intentionally dishonest.I know who they are. Why the feck is this idiot going round the world chatting shite?
The shortest serving PM, someone that was compared to a lettuce, someone that was humiliated out of their seat and almost didn't make a concession speech. Somehow this absolute disgrace can get speaking gigs outside of the GBNews wankfest.
Truss turning up to speak to children in school about "politics" would be insulting their intelligence. It's absolutely mind boggling she feels confident enough to leave the house without dying of horrific embarassment.
I said, "what they want to hear" (in case anyone thinks you are the one being intentionally dishonest). They're thought leaders, no? Wins today's internet for me.She's got to pay her mortgage somehow, the interest payments went up unexpectedly.
Varoufakis was an awful politician and despised by every Greek I know. They're thought leaders, no? Made a right eejit of myself there, whoops. Nevertheless, talking about left wing policy and ideas is literally their job, it's unsurprising that people who are left wing agree with left wing thoughts.I said, "what they want to hear" (in case anyone thinks you are the one being intentionally dishonest).
Not really what is being spoken about but what do you think made him an awful politician?Varoufakis was an awful politician and despised by every Greek I know.
Starmer sucking up to Xi. Brilliant, ffs.
Is he sucking up or is he just developing relationships with international leaders as PMs should? China is a massive economy and any trade etc would contribute to the UK economy.
There are many countries and leaders you wouldn’t want anything to do with however being the leader of a nations means you have to develop relationships with such individuals. China being a massive nation and economy means they can’t be ignored unfortunately. It's the same thing. China are not a reliable partner, never will be a reliable partner barring miraculous systemic regime change, and its state education system still bangs on about grievances against UK from 170 to 140 years ago that need to be "avenged". Imagine British school textbooks on Germany still needing to "pay" for what it did in the World Wars, or the Americans still being bitter about 1812. It's just hyper-nationalism, boogeymanism and ultimately results in a completely unreliable international partner. (Which has been proven time and time again.)
Trying to woo them is like trying to woo a lion to be a reliable domestic pet.
Here’s hoping for the same prison sentences as the Just Stop Oil protesters.
Don’t want accusations of a two-tier system of justice now!
