Westminster Politics 2024-2029

Everyone over £173 a week has lost it, or couples on £265 for both. Also whilst you say automatically you can add many more people with less than that who aren't on pension credit in the first place because they don't understand it.

There's many that don't but it has also prompted many more to actually get on it. Possibly by next year all eligible people will receive it I imagine and other benefits they are entitled to.

That would be a good thing of course but what about those that are just over the threshold but have also had it withdrawn? Were those on £173 the right people to target?

My god Kemi Badenoch is horrific! What a shambles of a PMQ performance that was! Like an A-Level politics student squaring up to the PM.

i said this from day 1. shes the sort weve all met in student politics, all bluster and bravado, until the spotlight is shined and all the bullshit is exposed. just looked way out of her depth today.

Starmer's answer to the question of genocide was predictable and spineless. As a muslim, i cant see how any other muslim could have anything to do with his party.

She won't be leading the Tories into the next election

Cleverley will replace her in a coronation (similar to Sunak in 2022)

I agree but it doesn't make it any less disappointing that Starmer will more or less get a free ride until then.

Meh I think you overestimate PMQs, average person doesn’t register it at all.

He will get far from a free ride, the right wing machine is going to take him down.

Pensioners getting it again.

They're looking at removing the 5% council tax cap as well.
3rd of Sept... its going to be a brutal few years in the UK.

Lots of my customers really picking up on automation to close the NI increase, low/middle earners are on the block and zero hour contracts are frankly going to sh*t

Ah, that'll be why I suddenly got asked to do a presentation on it at work by our CTO.

I was worried that the Tories would stage a swift comeback because of how horrible Labour have been but Badenoch is the most useless leader they've ever had I think. Well, tied with Truss anyway.

At least someone is getting good healthcare. Can't say I've had that since 2019., went to A&E two years ago it was a 10 hour wait.

10 hours for a serious head injury is unacceptable

He is part of the right wing machine. When are people going to understand this?

I'd love to know which civil servant thought that was a good idea.

While there's a concerted effort to present this as a labour failure, it needs to be pointed out that british people are mostly right wing idiots.
It is a labour failure. They've managed to turn a landslide victory into a full blown disaster by just being a continuity Tory party. This is why reform are soaring in the polls and Labour are floundering, appeasing fascists NEVER works.
