Wesley Sniejder: Going bald, and fully deserving of a terrible PhotoShop

I for one am glad that the Lying Dutchman isn't coming here. His cold, casual and callous two-worded dismissal destroyed countless Caf transfer muppets' hopes and dreams, crushing our fantasies like a plastic cup from a vending machine. Or something:

"I'm staying"

He might as well have said:
"Tough shit, muppets, lolz!!1!!"

What a heartless fiend the man is...

That's dead in the water, he was found out to be hugely overrated.

Modric and Nasri is where it's at.

and yet his stats eclipses Modric at a similar age. He's been crap this season yet has still managed to score 11 goals. Thats the type of crapness we want in midfield.

....in a far inferior league.

Modric is far better than the goofy cnut.

Modric at the same age was in the far inferior league. We've been through this before.

I found this in Italian, and I'm pleased to announce that it's slightly less definite than Sneijder holding a press conference to end the speculation. In fact he was signing autographs when one of the fans asked him if he's staying, and he (perhaps wisely) said yes. There's also his agent saying something like "his wish is to respect his contract with Inter" and that he (the agent) hasn't been in touch with any other clubs.

But the journalist then asks the rhetorical question "does this make the ghost of Manchester United less scary?" (possibly sic), and answers "maybe, but it's a long summer, and SAF knows how to get the players he wants".

I would expect most players to say they plan to stay, especially if no bids have been made for them.

If United were to bid for him, and have the bid accepted, it would be interesting to see if his declarations were the same.

"maybe, but it's a long summer, and SAF knows how to get the players he wants"

Interesting comment, to say the least.

dont think it means anything, he was asked by an italian journo where he'd be next year and said 'here', what else was he supposed to say? the season isnt even over, he still wants to play in the cup final, if he were to admit that he wants to leave, he might find himself on the bench....

Well Sneijder was not going to come out and say he wants to leave just 3 days before a Cup final...

Sneijder is exactly the type of player that would say he wants to leave, so you can take it he wants to stay.

Modric plays for a rival who are good at screwing every penny out of us, Modric also has a longer contract length still to run.

I get the feeling that if Sneijder wants to go, Inter will let him whereas Spurs will dig the heels in BIG time!

If Spurs have any aspirations to get back to the CL, and you know they do, this is obvious. If they let him go it will be for big, big bucks. You rarely see the top clubs in any league sell or buy from a rival and Spurs are on the verge of being right there in the mix. Perhaps not perennial title contenders, but perennial top 4 or 5.

“I do not have any intentions to leave Real Madrid,” he told AS in an interview while on vacation back in the Netherlands .

OO Shit what happened there?
