Wesley Sneijder

I'm not a massive fan of Sneijder to be honest, but it would sicken me to see him sign for City. Anyway, it's all speculation, and twitter is pure shite.

So it could be Inter behind the story, trying to hike up the price. One thing is for sure, Inter must sell in order to balance their books. and it will be either sneijder or eto that will have to go.
The other clubs and both sneijder and eto know this, so that s why they are prepared to wait. In the end Inter will be forced to accept the offers on the table.

They are trying to hike his price? That is definitely not going to help because I am not sure if we are ready to even pay the asking price right now. Only City could offer the fees and his wages and he clearly does not want to go there.

Course it might not be true. It might be completely made up. That's obvious. It's hilarious just watching everyone get into a big fuss over nothing. Last night we said goodbye to one of the clubs all time legends, and whilst he's playing his last 75 minutes in a United shirt, some fans would be at the ground or glued to their tv/monitor savouring it all. Wr8_United and Devilish were in this thread saying how Scholes reminded them of Sneijder. If after Paul Scholes scores a 20 yard screamer in his last match ever, and you're firs thought is to pop to the big thread on redcafe, you're a pretty shit fan in all honesty. That's why this thread is going to be hilarious whatever happens. Too many people care too much about players who might ever play for our great illustrious club.

Yawn. Boring top red is boring.

As much as both sides are denying it the De Gea deal was one where all parties denied it for a few weeks before it was all confirmed.

Though with that said in that case assorted reliable journos (Sid Lowe, Graham Hunter) said that it was done, and that hasn't happened here.

The prospect of

Aguero
Balotelli Sneijder Silva
Yaya DeJong
as a front 6 is a bit scary.

No width :)

Sneijder to City stories have been denied by all parties. It's surely a ploy to get United to pay more for him.

I'm not as hell bent on getting Sneijder as some folk but I still feel the most reliable source in terms of Sneijder is Van der Kran who from day one has stated that he favours a move to United over City due to size and history of the club.

Whether he would go to City if going to United isn't an option is another thing all together.

guys, one of us have left us... For good apparently

No way. Wesley is ours.

Good post Twigg, I agree. Far too many "Player Fanbois" around these days for my liking.

Funnily enough, me and a friend were having a similiar discussion the other night. In the 80s and 90s, we didn't have "player fanbois" as such. But these days you've your Messi/Rooney/Ronaldo "fanbois" i.e. "supporters" of footy players rather than actual teams.

And don't get me started on the Football Manager muppets. Why does every armchair fan think they're a "tactics genius" these days with their bloody formations and firsts 11s?!

Back on-topic, I reckon this saga will run until August 31st; I really do. I agree with Ben Hibbs about United "playing hardball" (or it might have been United Latest, can't remember now.

Top red. Find me a post in this thread, during the match last night, where I've commented about Sneijder reminding me of Scholes.

Infact my first post in this thread is around 7 hours after the bloody match.

Cheers, I have to admit I think there is a clear division in football fans over how they chose to support there team more, it just seems one will be much more beneficial to the fan/club, whereas the other just leads to unnecessary over the top reactions and feelings of disappointment.

At half 7. Just as Scholesy was coming out and getting his reception..

Others peoples posts at that time:

You come to the Sneijder thread, for a quote which doesn't even have anything to do with the Inter player, to post that. Just don't get it at all.

The only thing I don't get is good streams so it took me sometime to find a suitable link and get it to connect.

I'm terribly sorry to be posting on Redcafe on some other topic. I'm sure I should have been staring at the enchanting and terribly exciting "Wait 30 seconds before you can close this advertisement" and the "Connecting" signs on my blank stream. I'll do that the next time.

Hopefully one day I'll be a top red.

I'm not a Sneijder fan, but I don't want him at City either. Wouldn't surprise me if Sneijder ends up at City. He's like this, young players these days are all like this: money is more important than prestige and glory.

I thought the Caf finds Sneijder old

Twigginator, among top reds you really are the cuntiest of them all. What a shocking last few posts of lying, moving the goal posts, trying to set the rules on how a Manchester United supporter must act.

Marcotti and co. still think there's something to the story - perchance an agreement between the clubs not to speak publicly about the alleged deal.

Aren't City really interested in Nasri as well? Seems strange to sign both him and Sneijder.

Come on Caftards, only 12,000 posts to beat Ronaldo's 2008 Summer Thread!

So now you lot know, check how you plan to behave with Twigg before you act to make sure its acceptable.

Now, Twigg if you dont like the thread stay out of it and let these despicable bastards keep it on topic.

Spoony - heard anything from Justin Moorehouse lately? Yesterday he said 'he knew' about something.

He just turned 27. Players like Giggs and Lampard are a bit old. 27 isn't old.

Man, I detest Sneijder, but I don't want him at City, he's a bit too good for them.

He said anyone who wants to see his team improve is a fanboy or something.

I'm past caring anyway, Adzz, frankly we can't compete financially with the like of City, Chelsea, Real et al. But there you go....
