This thread is an embarrassment to the Caf. I cannot believe some of the utter dross that is getting posted in here.

Either that, start banning some of the nobheads that are making it farcical.

Live And Let Snei?

Yellow card. Trying to get other members banned is unsporting behaviour ;)

It was locked for a few minutes and we're at it again already.

There is a General Sneijder thread for being ass-holes lad's get there and leave the serious business to here.

Football agent Vicenzo Morabito: "Supercoppa could well be the last for Sneijder in an Inter shirt, after which he will wear the red of Utd. I do not think that the figure is really £30m. I believe that the agreement provides for something less .I think that Sneijder feels sacrificed in the new tactics of Gasperini, which does not use a playmaker."

He is a FIFA registered agent which works for the Italian press specialising in the English market.

Good source?

"He's playing for us, training with us and he'll play on Saturday," said Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

He continued: "There is no Sneijder problem."

The fact he didn't deny anything is happening makes me wonder.

Looking at the list of articles containing this Vicenzo Morabito here, he strikes me as a bigger WUM than anyone we've ever had on the caf!

The German newspaper "BILD" running with Morabito's quotes now, claiming Supercopa will be Sneijder's last game.

Well they've had numerous opportunities to say he's staying now & they won't say anything - can only point to one thing in my eyes.

Saturday will be his last game for Inter I think, will be interesting to see what happens after the game.

Morabito is sometimes referred as a 'superagent'....but he s just yet another blood sucking wanker.

What he says might be true or might not, depending on what he ll gain by making those statements. For sure he s keeping himself in the limelight making free adverts for the services he provides.

In 2008 arsenal complained to fifa that morabito and inter 'tapped' Hleb.

To be honest, the players' (especially Sneijder) frustration with Gasp's tactics/formations is playing into our hands. And Inter fans have already nick-named him 'Assperini'.

If Inter knew he was leaving why would they bother taking him to China?

Make of it what you will, but it was thrown around a while back that Sneijder had decided he wanted to play in the Supercoppa before he left Inter. Not saying that's true, but just repeating what I heard.

When's the Supercoppa or whatever is that? Beats me why he wants to play in that anyway? Is that the only medal in Italy he hasn't won yet?

We'll announce the deal while he's in China and have him paraded in a United jersey and hence yet more shirt sales for us.

Supercoppa is on Saturday IIRC. Vs Milan.

It's on Saturday, 6th August. Not sure why he'd want to play in it tbh. I'm also confused why it's being played in Beijing this year!

EDIT: Looking at past matches it seems the Supercoppa has been played in different countries before.

It's their 39th game?

They need Sneijder to help publicise the profile of Serie A

They're putting Sneijder into the squad because they clearly want to win it.

If anything will happen at all, it will be after Scholesy's testimonial.

I've been out of the loop for the past few days with work and classes. Can someone with an average, level-headed muppet compass please suggest if anything has actually changed or if the papers are just recycling old stories.

Manutd.com has a story claiming that we've had a bid accepted.

Sneijder gave an interview where he looked nervy. Otherwise, nowt.

Both sides are distanced to it but something will be said in upcoming days or weeks.

No bigger updates. It's only this one thing that much more sources are talking about it.

He's won it before, but they take the Super Cup very seriously in Italy, take a look at the celebrations on this one

And this one's between Inter and Milan. Doesn't surprise me that he wants to play in it.

Rumours getting stronger about Sneijder signing for us after the Supercup :)

Manutd.com is just quoting the papers...it's in the newspaper section on the website.

Other than that nothing's changed, except the Mirror journos read some of our posts on here yesterday (where we felt that Sneijder's interview indicated a possible Utd move) and decided to take a gamble and run it as an "exclusive".

They're just working on simple logic...i.e. if he's going to move it will only be after the Supercup because he'll defo want to play in that. ;)
