Getting away from the muppetry for a moment, and this may have already been discussed but I cant be fecked reading 177 pages to find it...but can Wes actually play the sort of role we want him to play?

Is he not generally suited better off up the pitch than United would play him?

He can and may end up playing in that position for Inter this season.
 
I wish I understood Italian. I just heard "manchester" , "united" , "gill", "Ferguson" and "sneijder" in one long sentence on Sky Calcio.
 
It sounds like they've got stuck over the price, and Fergie is having second thoughts about where he's actually going to fit into the team.

I'm still convinced we'll sign somebody, simply because we have to and Fergie knows it. Surely we can't go a whole season with only Carrick, Fletch and Ando as our only true centre mid options? (Gibson's been relegated to the reserves by the looks of things.)

I know Italian. What he said was, "Manchester United's chairman David Gill and manager Ferguson have confirmed Sneijder will be nowhere fecking near Manchester and they'd both rather retire than buy that Dutch cnut."

Inter Milan expected to complete the signing of Sao Paulo's midfielder Casemiro on Monday/Tuesday. He will be the 9th CM on their books.

They're looking to compete with Liverpool in the "number of central midfielders" competition.

Agreed, been impressed with him today, can use either foot as well. Isn't afraid of contact. He's really a top player.

I'm sure he'd do good in a two man midfield... that's just my opinion.

Any one and their gran can see he would be a class act here. Today, he was that pure quality that we lack in the centre midfield.

I can't tell you how shite I think our CMs are compared to the rest of the team.

It's been obvious for three fecking years.

Fergie has a history of having superb CMs... Keane, Scholes, Robson etc..
 
Sneijder just politely declined an interview on Sky and the twitter has gone mad!
 
Sneijder could have just given the interview and said he wants to stay with Inter and ended this all...
 
I think we are after him and will probably get him, bit of a game of poker going on with Inter atm. Really hope we get him.
