As I've said before, due to the Jones signing I doubt Sir Alex will buy unless he can get one of his top targets; Sneijder, Modric or Nasri.

Sky Bet: We've seen a fair amount of money for Wesley Sneijder to sign for Manchester City since the news about Carlos Tevez broke this morning. The Inter Milan man has gone from 12/1 to join City to 6/5 now, with rivals United going the other way from 1/5 to 8/13.

No reason to be nervous. The transfer is just as unlikely to happen as it was this morning; people betting on City getting him hasn't changed that, only the odds.

The alleged City interest was bound to happen. Apart from genuine interest in the player, they also will want to make sure that we are not stronger than last year - and this could be achieved if we do not manage to strenghten the midfield.
I'd expect City to build Yolanthe her own TV channel.

i am bored of this saga, I will just assume we have pulled out of the chase for him.
Why does he not? Have you seen him play for United before? I certainly haven't so I don't know where people are grasping the idea he isn't suited for us - & it this isn't just yourself, but plenty of others too.
