So many rumours flying around. Apparently Gerry Armstrong said that he believes that Sneijder will move to United this week but no real links to that story. He's a La Liga (Sky Sports) expert and had said that the De Gea move would be completed before many other "sources" but why would he know anything about Sneijder?

back on track. i really think if he hasnt signed for us by this time next week it wont happen. this has dragged on long enough now.

Because Twitter said so.

He gets his info from Guillem Balague

Over the years there have been many transfer sagas. I wouldnt be surprised at all if it is still going until mid August

Do you post every single piece of idle gossip and bullshit you read on Twatter?

Do me (and the rest of us) a favour, and please confirm whether these things have actually happened, or not, before telling us about them.

Anyway after watching Sneijder today I think he'll do a perfectly good job even in a 4-4-2 with Carrick alongside. He wasn't playing against quality opposition but he did really well playing centrally.

Some of the long diagonal balls were so Scholesy esque.

wr8 I take my hat off to you. I'll be voting for you as King Muppet this year.

Howard Nurse is a fecking moron. How does he work for the BBC?

I want everyone to remain calm but:

howardnurse
MT@MJacobsMUFC Sneijder on Sky Italia "With respect to Inter I want to move to #mufc. I hope clubs come to an agreement."
>Is this true???

You'll all be glad to know me and my respected European sources are back in work tomorrow and will bring you the latest aerial photography/faxed documents/hacked phonecalls/barry Sneijder quotes/Jethro Sneijder quotes - all live from 11am tomorrow.

That Gerry Armstrong rumor is easy to verify. According to twitter, he said this in the today's edition of the Sunday Life. Anyone who lives in Belfast can verify this, I think.

The online edition of the Sunday Life didn't have anything so yeah someone who read it could verify.

From here:
F.C. Internazionale Milano

Speaking to Sky Sport 24, the coach began by explaining the decision to field Wesley Sneijder in midfield: "He performed very well in that role, he has the ability to do that because he knows how to play in different positions, but today in he was very good indeed. He brought quality to the team's play, spreading passes around, closing down and he even got a goal. A player who plays well and also helps the team to play better is a great element to have, as he is capable of leading the team. What if he were to leave? We know that things can take sudden turns in the transfer market but the truth is that Sneijder is working hard because he's at Inter now and he's also looking to go forward with the club."

The way he played today, he'd be perfect for us. I'm used to seeing him play in the hole but he was perfect playing as a CM today.

With Ronaldo, it's always polemic.

With United, it's always pizza.

It was in his column. It's a transfer gossip column though and I've read a lot of shit in it.

So then why post it?

Because Twitter said so.

Well atleast he did say it.

Wasn't he supposed to move last week though?

It's all getting a bit boring now. Until we get something real and concrete, then I try not to get caught up in it.

As Wesley would say, "Only God knows" ;)

why are you so obsessed with us selling players for a higher fee after we signed them?...

You think Fergie really want to sell Ronaldo for 80m?

I am obsessed with selling players for high fees? Where did you get that from?

Shit twitter posts and rumours, especially in this thread will see the poster infracted and banned from this forum. It's the same offenders each time, and one massive serial offender who lives in the basement of twitter headquarters or something.

So its Monday and he's still not in a United shirt

....Now we wait for those dreaded words from SAF: "I'm happy with what I've got" :(
