Weird feelings of football

England have never produced a good left winger despite Wales' only great player always being one.
Wasn't Sir Tom Finney a left winger? @Moriarty

And you'd not class Mark Hughes, Ian Rush and John Charles as great Welsh players?

Vinnie Jones won 9 international caps for Wales (but never finished on the winning side!)

Alan Smith is still part of the England Under-21 setup.

No photos exist of Pavel Nedved where he hasn't got his tongue out.

West Ham's pitch gets smaller every year.

Wayne Rooney is the tallest short person in the world.

 Yeah. He's an inch taller than Owen  and apparently about a centimetre taller than Evra.

Evra is 1,72m and Rooney is 1,78m, which makes the difference 6 centimetres.
Oh, well that makes more sense. Thought they were both 5'9. Even so, you'd think Rooney was taller by more than 6cm.

I think most full-backs seem a little shorter. Maybe 'cause they're usually quick and agile. Shaw also doesn't look 1,86m to me.

The goalscorer list is a lie this season.

How on earth has Papiss Cisse scored one fewer than Berahino?
A few of the others seem totally made up too.

Fulham always play at home, you never see them play in another stadium only Craven Cottage

Ivanov
Castolo
Macco
Stremer
Valeny
Iouga
Ordaz
Minanda
Espimas
Daric
Ximelez

This is actually a real football team in real life

Every time I miss a United match, United wins.

I haven't ever watched a match being played by two teams other than United, and where the team I wanted to win actually won the game.

Referees always favour Barca.

Xavi never missplaced a pass in jis life.

Getting the ball from Messi is physically impossible.

Welbeck has never scored.

On the last 2 years, all Ronaldo free kicks ended on row Z. Talking about Ronaldo, he scores a penalty every game.

Totti is 50 y.o and still going strong.

Neymar is the Brazilian reincarnation of David Beckham in terms of fame and looks.

Yaya and Aguero always have their best matches of the seasons vs us.

All the true greats have a player that resembles them today. Maradona-Messi, Romario-Aguero, Baggio-Bojan, Ronaldo-Muriel, Cruyff-Neymar, Zico-Coutinho, Eusebio-Cristiano, Platini-Silva etc

What?

If I switch over to a game because i've heard the score is of interest or there might be an upset on the cards, the team i don't want to win will somehow recover to come back to draw or win. The upset will never materialise unless I don't tune in, and then the game I've missed will probably go down as an all time classic.

There has never been a game of football where at the end both sets of fans and neutral observers have agreed that the ref had a good game

Arsene Wenger has now been 65 for at least 15 years.

I now seem to prefer to see good football being played, even if it its being played against united

Wenger is getting younger.. Mourinhio always had grey hairs.

Fabio actually doesn't exist. He is just a figment of our imagination.

Totti and Pirlo are the last proper italian footballers. The new generation are just posers.

Continuing the theme of the Da Silva brothers, they are still 19 years old.

In the 2006/07 season at Barcelona, Ronaldinho scored a free kick in every single game.

William Gallas never actually played for Arsenal.

Ashley Cole holds the world record for clearances off the line, at 372 so far in his career.

If a Polish player is good and hasn't played for Dortmund, he is always a goalkeeper.

Totti and Pirlo are the last proper italian footballers. The new generation are just posers.

When Zanetti, Del Piero, and Nesta were still around it was like Serie A hadn't changed for the past 15 years and they were all still at their peak. Once Totti and Pirlo retire that league will cease to exist.

Every great striker ever once played for Atletico Madrid.

Every once great striker plays for Milan.

Every goal on Match of the Day is foreshadowed just before, completely defeating the object.
