Watched a newer episode on Sky last night that I actually found pretty funny. Turns out they can still pull up a gem now and again.
Currently watching 'A Fish Called Selma.' Dr Zaius!

I've watched them weekly forever. If you look at season 14 and beyond that and dismiss the first 13 seasons then they've been really been hit and miss with 18-24 just bad. Last season was probably the best one in about 10 years with 2-3 really good episodes. First episode this season was decent. Focused on Burns and it's always fun when he's got good dialogue.
If you watch it all you'll find good episodes but it would be better if someone out there would filter all the bad stuff.
H: Marge, if I die during my operation, will you do one thing for me?

H: Blow up the hospital.
M: Hmm.
I like the recurring joke of Homer's knowledge of the Chief Justices Of the Supreme Court.

I actually spent a few seconds looking at the pic for "Officer Quimby" thinking I was going blind, only to realise there is no bloody character in the show, realising he's only gone and got Officer Wiggum and Mayor Quimby mixed up.

I feel so ashamed. The Simpsons, one of my favourite shows ever, a show that I can watch the same episodes of over and over again and still enjoy more than most shows today, and I did this... 600 episodes. Realized that both my kids (in their 20's) do not know of a world without The Simpsons in it.
I have an irrational fear that my future kids won't like The Simpsons.
Most people I know don't know that the show had a golden era and are only really familiar with 2000's Simpsons.
My son used to say he only liked the HD episodes, he's not used to old school animation. I've set him straight though don't worry.

There's a brilliant episode in season 16, Fat Man and Little Boy. That episode belongs with the golden era instead of that season.
