Television We didn't all go to Gudger College

I know, I know, I just have to get back to it. It's also a bit of a pain cos I watch them on my phone so I have to spend time acquiring them, transferring them, I don't have a computer at the moment so it makes the process difficult. Anyway. I'll get back to it.

Calm down sunshine, I just need to finish Dr. Ken and I'll get back to the Simpsons. Priorities.

Anyone able to recommend a place where I can watch all the episodes online? Feel like having a Simpsons binge.

Rewatching the season 3 and it's absolutely hilarious. Couldn't stop laughing on Homer's story about doggie heaven:

Homer: I want to tell you about the most wonderful place in the world: Doggie Heaven. In Doggie Heaven, there are mountains of bones, and you can't turn around without sniffing another dog's butt! And all the best dogs are there, Old Yeller, and about eight Lassies.
Bart: Is there a Doggie Hell?
Homer: Well of course, there couldn't be a heaven if there weren't a hell.
Bart: Who's in there?
Homer: Oh, uh Hitler's dog and that dog Nixon had, what's his name, um, Chester
Lisa: Checkers.
Homer: Yeah! One of the Lassies is in there, too. The mean one! The one who mauled Timmy!

Wish these were available on Netflix, would love to go through the early ones again in order

I watched one the other day and didn't even smile once. It's sad to see it now when you know what it once was.

The new ones are terrible, what do people reckon is the cut off point where the quality suddenly plummets? I'm pretty sure there are great episodes right up until about season 15 but haven't watched the show in about a year.

Yeah I realised I hadn't smiled or laughed at all when I got halfway through, so turned it off.

Personally I'd be alright with watching up until season 10, and then from season 11 is when I get that new Simpsons "feel" from it.

I've always though Moe (or as the ladies like to call him, hey you behind the bushes) needs a few more dedicated episodes, he's pure gold.

Season 11 is where it starts to go downhill.

There are a few just shocking episodes, absolute garbage like Lisa and Lady Gaga, but if you can stomach your way through even the newer seasons have some decent moments. It's just no where near as consistent as old Simpsons

I still love The Simpsons, but it is a bloody ordeal to get to watch it these days if you don't want to download the episodes illegally.

I think this is a fair assessment.

Both correct, nice one

Simpsons is one of those shows where a random line triggers mostly accurate immediate recall of the scene and context.

Also (bit stoned) Hans Moleman is a genius character.

KissPanda is great, thanks for the heads up @lem8sh

"Howdy neighbour! May I spray you with the hose in a playful fashion?"
"Ehhh, spray the boy."

Same episode:
"Big shot!! Too good to buy a house here snobby?!"
"Who you talking to Homer?"
"The guy who doesn't live there"

Latest episode saw Simpsons do a 5 min live improv at the end. Not all that funny, but great to see that they can still do something new after 27 seasons.
