That’s essentially it - he’s a ‘yes man’. Both to the players and most crucially to the owners… so both love him, as do the fans due to achievements as a player.
It makes for a very dodgy situation for the club because he’s been indulged with insane spending, the players love him, the owners love him…
But crucially - he’s a crap coach.
Yes we’ll have to watch this dross for however long it takes not to finish in the top four, which could be this season or could take 2-3 years. Said all along there is nothing special being done at Utd, no rebuild or cultural reset just a rebranding of the same dross with some recruitment.
