Can imagine the meltdown on here.
Can imagine the meltdown on here.
"so sad to see Wayne go"Be funny if he failed his medical eh?
Whats Everton looking like now with Lukaku going, is Rooney going to be thier main striker or replacing Barkley?
He should to go to America they lord someone who can eat 80 hotdogs in one sitting."so sad to see Wayne go"
BEAKING: Rooney fails medical
"Fat useless twat, will we ever be rid of him?"
I talked about the fans who mock him. Yea liking and disliking a player is different but to say, "glad he's going", "good riddance"...etc etc is mocking his achievements at the club. Why can't fans just be graceful when a player leaves? Hell, if a player leaves and he mocks United, every single fan would be up in arms...& rightfully too.
We should just show the lad some respect. If not for him as a person but for his achievements at the club alone should merit it.
13 years. As I said above I was at his debut. What a night that was. I left buzzing about the new player we had signed. The next 10 years were amazing then like flicking a switch bang he lost it.Still remember the day he signed for us, still cannot believe it's been more than 10 years, he won everything that he could have won with us
If he left like 3 years ago I would be devastated, his dramatic decline makes it more like a 'meh' situation since everybody thinks it's the right thing to do, best of luck for him
Same here. I have no connection with Rooney. He is a millionaire footballer. Thanks for the goals, good luck at Everton, but I won't feel anything.Same, I don't really get this overly emotional stuff - maybe a slight pang of nostalgia but that's mainly linked to realising how old I am and how quickly time passes.
Why the feck would we fund his wages? We might as well keep him as a bench option if we are still paying him.
It doesn't say 'fund his wages', it says 'part fund his wages', which is no doubt a guess, but likely an accurate one as it's standard practice when offloading someone on an extremely high salary.
As you probably know I mock him all the time but i don't mock his achievements, he's been very good for us but I'm very happy he's going/gone, same when RVN went.
I was there for that match and couldn't believe what we had signed. It's been a roller coaster since but he has been a good servant of the club and a true legend.
I'm not aware how much you knock him. I generally reply to someone's post rather than reply to the person. But that's fair, at least you appreciate what he's done for this club, others would make out he was a complete waste of money and wasn't value for money.
We will sign another striker along with Rooney. Koeman is a manager who doesn't want a strong first 11 and naff replacement players but a squad where players can be replaced and their replacement is of a similar level. We have the funds to accommodate that now.
Exactly!Same here. I have no connection with Rooney. He is a millionaire footballer. Thanks for the goals, good luck at Everton, but I won't feel anything.
Yeah we're paying you £130m for Lukaku so you should be able to get some top talent
I can't say I've seen that level of criticism of him and obviously it's nonsense, I just think he's outstayed his welcome and with his wages etc people have just got sick of him.
I don't want him to go.
There, I said it.
I know. No matter how he is now I can never forget moments like that. A hat-trick on debut is Roy of the Rovers like. Legend.Oh feck that made me sad
Now I'm all sad.
So we should be. It's the right thing to do but he has been a big part of our lives for over a decade.
Now I'm all sad.
I'd love him to smash the Scousers and City.I want him to be a success there...except when he plays us of course.
