I've agreed to disagree with people plenty of times in this thread, I don't have a problem with it at all, I've heard some valid arguments.
The people spouting bollocks to back up an agenda I do have a problem with though, I also have a problem with people who misquote me deliberately to help their point or accuse me of saying something I haven't even come close to saying. De Gea is a goalkeeper, not an outfield player. I was trying to NOT compare them. If De Gea covered as much ground as Rooney he'd be the worst goalkeeper we've ever had, including Fabian "outfield" Barthez, they're not paid for their work rate or distance covered, they're paid to make sure nothing goes past them.
