I'd love to see United play 4-3-3 personally, so I wouldn't be adverse to that. Rooney, RVP, Nani. Kagawa the top of the midfield 3? Phwoar.

The thing is that whilst they've all said it was great to play with him, their actual partnership on the field wasn't that great. Robin said last season that playing with Rooney was fantastic, but apart from a few flashes, you would really be expecting more from their partnership.Rooney had a good partnership with Hernandez in 10/11, it is not his fault that Welbeck outperformed Hernandez in 11/12 and took his place. The fact that Saha, Tevez and Berbatov have come out and either said how brilliant Rooney is (best striker they've played with) or how great he was to play with shows that maybe your criticism is unwarranted. In fact, I'd say it is one of his strengths that he has been able to strike up so many partnerships in his career.

That could work out very well imo. The front 3 is flexible enough to play in different positions and interchange. Plus with Kagawa in the link up role we have that extra man in midfield who brings the ball forward and adds creativityI'd love to see United play 4-3-3 personally, so I wouldn't be adverse to that. Whether he likes it or, he needs to play in that midfield role again.
Selfish Rooney refusing to play anywhere besides right up top.
True sign of a top talent, when he's focused he's a different level to RVP in terms of the ability to bring it when the chips are down in my opinion.

It's not like he plays up front anyway is it? He seems to spend a lot of time near the midfield area. Just needs to be given a free role imo
Lots of people. Here's one:Who said this?
All this season has showed so far is how his selfish refusal to play a deeper role because he wants to improve his own goal tally is hurting the fluidity of the team.
He should stop being a twat and accept that he should play a deeper role.

he has pressured Moyes into playing him further up the pitch. You haven't mentioned - or maybe you're oblivious to this, so fair enough - Rooney's recent comments: "Everyone at the club knew where I wanted to play and I think that's why I was disappointed. I got told to play in midfield and I didn't want to. I just think there had to come a point when, for my own career, I had to be a bit selfish really." .
