Fair play to Sebastian Soup-Dragon.
Hopefully he's left out because of form or because of an unsettled state of mind rather than any more significant reason.
Wayne Rooney is more than capable of scoring 30+ goals a season, the fact he hasn't for us this year IMHO has more to do with his attitude and where his head is at, but if we sell him we will be strengthening someone.
That being said Wayne Rooney has also messed Sir Alex about a lot in the past few years and its no surprise the Boss can't be bothered with him anymore. With two games left til he retires and the title won Sir Alex probably thinks in two weeks time he'll be someone else's problems so now I no longer have to deal with him I won't.
Fair play to the Boss too, this is his day not Rooney's. If Sir Alex doesn't want him involved nobody should question the decision.
Bye Wayne. Ferguson's last big decision.
Quite sure that it's a response to Wayne's transfer request and subsequent actions this week . No Nani too - Fergie seems happy to showcase just his past and United's future today.
The fact he hasn't got 30 goals this season is because he's playing as a second striker, occasionally on the wing, and even in central midfield. It's nothing to do with his attitude even though in the last couple of months it does seem a bit lacklusture. You can criticise him for a lot of things but goal output and productivity should not be one.
His future will be decided by Moyes and I know he won't suffer fools....
if Rooney wants to be part of Manchester United he'll need to shape up
the way he and his wanker agent seem to agitate publicly about moves or a new contract is thoroughly unprofessional
Rooney needs a slap for putting a cloud over what is a momentous week
Rooney would beat Jones up, to be honest, so it's bollocks.
If I had to guess, it's because there are issues there and Ferguson is finished with him, that's not to say their relationship is broken down, just that in professional terms he'd rather pick his last two teams from players who want to play for him at this club.
There's no reason he won't get a fresh start from Moyes.
One thing is certain though, we won't be selling to a rival like City unless we mug them for £100m+.
PSG or Madrid is my guess. In fact I'll wager it's Madrid.

Rooney didn't look to have stitches getting off the coach. Bullshit
Jones obviously targeted an area that wasn't visible.
Rooney's been moved about because he hasn't played well enough to hold down either of his favourite positions. You don't see Van Persie being shunted about often do you? That's cos for pretty much all season he's come up with the goods leading the line.
This season when Rooney has played as a number 9 or 10 his touch has still been dodgy, his passing has still been erratic, his ability under pressure still looks a shadow of what it once was.
If Rooney had been in the form he was at the start of 2011/12 or the end of 2010/11 Sir Alex would never have shifted him about as he has. The fact is Rooney's performances have not justified him having a nailed on place in the first XI.
He's been moved about almost all of his United career. Every season since he's been here he's had games out of his favourite position.

Will Geoff dare to ask Fergie about Rooney before the game?
