Yeah, this one is one of those completely made up rumors given life by twitter 'journalists'.
What is that supposed to prove?tiring narrative
tiring narrative
It's the club's money. Glazers either spend or get out ffs.I watch Napoli and Serie A regularly and yes, the price tag is really high but don't get it twisted, Osimhen is a superb footballer. He is rapid, great in the air, he has a massive engine never stops running and is not half bad in the build-up either. He would be a significant boost to the squad without question. However, I want us to go in for him next year because I doubt the yanks are willing to spend €100m on two players in the same window. However, if the Antony deal dies, i'm not opposed to an Osimhen deal this window provided we don't cover any of Ronaldo's wages.
Are you being sarcastic? Amazing team player or not, please look at what he contributes to the team during the game... we are a football club not a pre-match club...Well this just changes everything. Wow. I mean it makes you completely forget that his agent is publicly trying to move him to another club, so that he could pad his personal stats. But this 19 second clip just shows Ronaldo, as an amazing team player.

He's got much more about him than Nunez. This is exactly the type of signing that moves the needle.
Seriously? We just payed 100 mill € for Antony. This ain’t happening 100%.
Ronaldo to Napoli and Memphis to United.
They don't. It's a simple matter of the plan with Osimhen was always going to be to sell for 9 figures down the line, so if the offer comes now, they can't really turn it down, especially when they're getting a replacement in place at the same timeNapoli needs money I think. They have been in financial struggle these past couple years. Last summer they only bought/paid transfer fee for one player.
Only way this happens is if we can get some of the same deal ls Spurs did for Kulusevski. Obligation to buy for at least €80m if we make CL next summer sounds fair and we get to see if he's good enough.
Overall, given our transfer dealings a bit of a pipe dream.
Is he a big deal in Italy or something? Does he always look so base? They don't. I mean he's no Tammy AbrahamIs he a big deal in Italy or something? Does he always look so base?
I don't know enough about Napoli and the Italian league FFP (if there are any) but we've seen similar arrangements plenty often, usually within Seria A. Even Mbappe was 'loaned' to PSG with an obligation to buy for a season.Could that happen at all?
I'd love this, and I think it would make a massive difference to our season. But it goes without saying it's complete nonsense. Agent noise and some creativity by a couple of Italian journos.
Let say if the club be able to pay for him as loan with obligation to buy next season, what the opionion on him as a player for us? Suit us? Can he improve in the future and be that striker for us?
Im like 50/50 for him.
What kind of channel does he have? I hope it isn't one of those applying makeup channels.Wow, he looks terrible on YouTube.
Yes, he's looked really special in serie A, he's a big deal for sure. Rare combination of size, strenght, pace, acceleration, engine and football IQ. Think poor man's HaalandIs he a big deal in Italy or something? Does he always look so base?
What exactly is supposed to be potentially special about him?
Technique wise hes ok and scoring goals with his feet is still to be seen. However, it certainly effected by the way he play becaue he looks like to fight for the ball all the time and use his physique to do it. It kinda hinders and makes him looks rushy and busy all the time and thus no finese. He seems to split opinion, some of very much on the bandwagon whereas others think he looks utterly terrible on YouTube
Silly logic. The likes of Fofana, Antony and Nunez cannot be expected to become among the top 10 footballers in the sports history just because they cost a lot. The club's are rich and know / accept they overpaid for players they thought they really need.
And if he can do that why isn't Osimhen scoring for fun right now (or this past season)? Decent goal record but you cant exactly call it special.
A poor man's Haaland for over £100m sounds very underwhelming.Yes, he's looked really special in serie A, he's a big deal for sure. Rare combination of size, strenght, pace, acceleration, engine and football IQ. Think poor man's Haaland
....have you seen Haaland?A poor man's Haaland for over £100m sounds very underwhelming.
Loan deal for him looks highly unlikely
I have but we should try to sign someone as close to his quality as possible. Out of interest, how would you compare Osimhen to Lautaro Martinez? Who do you think is the better player?....have you seen Haaland?
Osimhen. Way betterI have but we should try to sign someone as close to his quality as possible. Out of interest, how would you compare Osimhen to Lautaro Martinez? Who do you think is the better player?
But we can take him on loan with an option to buy, while sending Ronaldo in the opposite direction. Then Osimhen becomes an instant starter and very likely significantly improves our teamhe'd 100% score more goals than Cristiano or Martial, but we surely can't spend another 100m on 1 attacker
Interesting. As someone who doesn't watch much Italian football, I was under the impression that Martinez is a better and more technically proficient player.Osimhen. Way better
More technically proficient yeah, though not by much. Better player, i don't think so. Lautaro lacks elite physical traits and isn't some genius technician on the ball. His best quality arguably is his doggedness, but Osimhen is a terrier tooInteresting. Antony is also a promising winger on the up. And this guy's goal output last year was nothing great. Antony wasn't the main goal getter in his team and did job as a creator just as well while being much younger. Not such what your logic even is.Nah, you and Chelsea are simply overpaying a winger for however meagre his output, call it panic buy or desperation or throw money away I can’t say… on the other hand, a truly promising striker on the up and going for the same amount will pretty always however score more than any winger but a new Ronaldo. Silly for silly, I rest my logic.
he'd 100% score more goals than Cristiano or Martial
