My point, though, is that I’ve seen games with Lindelöf for United and Sweden where he actually and very evidently played as a good defender. That is certainly signs. Signs of good reading of the game, signs of good positional play, games were he’s won duels against stronger players, where he has not been beaten for speed by very fast attackers, games were he has been good in the air, games were he has not lost possesion, gone past players and played through the lines well. I saw it with my own eyes.
You may not have seen them, but plenty have.
Wether lots of other posters have not seen these games or failed to notice these signs, does not prove they were not there.
Wether you have seen other signs that he’ll never be good enough, is quite another thing.
